Chapter 3 - Palm Beach

Jessie's POV

The guy I saw standing with my brothers went away from them and walked somewhere else but he took the same way as me.

"Hey there, new in town?" he asked.

"Yeah, I am" I said.

"Wait, you must be Jessica Braxton" the boy said.

"Yeah and who are you?" I asked.

"I'm Benjamin Patterson, a good friend to The Braxtons" he said.

"Nah i don't think so?" I said.

"Well don't, we are having a party tomorrow... Wanna come?" he said changing the subject.

I don't even know him and he just asked me like we've known each other for an hour or something, I just met him, creep.

"I'm busy" I said.

"Jessica, are you coming?" Brax asked.

"Yes" I answered and walked away from Benjamin.

"Bye hottie" I heard him say.

Wait what did he say? I'm gonna kill him. I turned around and gave him a bitch slap.

"Call me that again and i'll kill you, man whore" I said angrily.

"You shouldn't have done that" he said and smirked. This idiot most have a big problem.

"Really, Why not? Because you are a bitch?" I said.

"Oi, is it a problem here?" Brax asked.

"No, everything is perfect" Benjamin said.

"Jessica, Kyle needs help. Can you go and help him?" Brax asked.

"Yeah" I said and walked away.

Brax POV

"What are you trying to do?" I asked Patterson.

"Nothing, just trying to be friendly" Benjamin said with a smirk.

"If you talk to her or even touch her I will kill you," I said and threatened him, my finger was on his chest and I really wanted to kick his ass but let go. I walked away from him, but I could see his ugly smirk on his face while I went back to the others.

I saw Casey and Gabby holding hands and sitting right next to each other while Kyle and Jessica already were out on the waves. Heath sat with Darcey and Bianca meanwhile Ricky walked around the beach alone, I went to her from behind and carried her into the water.

"Brax, let me down" she screamed in the hope that I would let her down but since she really wanted to I did as she said and dropped her into the water.

"You are so dead, Darryl Braxton" she giggled and threw water on me.

The rest of the day we all were at the beach and enjoyed to be with each other. Jessica really was good at surfing and she decided to start surf more often which really made me happy that our little sister were like us even she didn't know us, but we are blood so I should've kind of expect me that.

Jessie's POV

"Brax who was that boy, Benjamin?" I asked him.

"Someone you shouldn't talk to, believe me" Brax answered.

"Why?" I asked again.

"Just don't talk to him, he is dangerous that is all you need to know," Brax said annoyed but in the way trying to warn me from him. I was very curious to know more about Benjamin but I had to trust my brother and do as he said, stay away from Benjamin.

"Jess, wanna surf again?" Kyle asked.

"No, I just wanna enjoy the sunset," I said sitting on the soft sand watching out to the horizon.

"What about you Casey?" Kyle asked.

"No, I don't feel for it, sorry mate," he said.

I looked out to the sea and saw something, someone was out there waving for help. I started to walk against the big ocean.

"I trought you didn't wanna surf" Kyle said.

"Oh my god, someone is out there, it looks like someone is drowning," I said ignoring Kyle and ran over into the ocean to help.

"Wait" I heard Brax say, but it was too late to wait I had to save that girl/boy I couldn't really see the face but ran all I had to her/him.

I swam over to the drowning someone and saw that it was a boy, he looked like to be at my own age and I hurried to help, he was stuck with a rope around his right foot. I took the rope away and swam him back with me to the beach. When we finally were there i laid him on the beach and i could see the others worried faces.

"Oh my god, it's Sam" Kyle said and i knew from that moment that they knew eachother.

I did the CPR on him and hoped that he would cough the water out, I continued and finally he did what I hoped for.

"Are you okay?" Brax asked.

"Yes, I'm Brax and thank you" he answered Brax and thanked me for saving him.

"Nothing to thank for," I said and helped him up. Brax gave him a towel and I insist on driving him to the hospital but he was so stubborn so I drove him home.

"I haven't seen you around here before, are you new?" he asked.

"Yes I'm, my name is Jessica Braxton" I said.

"What? Are you a Braxton? Brax and company's sister?" he asked with a surprised face.

"Yes, I'm their sister" I said and laughed.

"I didn't know they had a sister," he said.

"I didn't even know I had brothers, Brax, Heath and Kyle are my half brothers, but Casey is my real brother. I actually don't care about that because after all we are a family" I said and he nodded, after a couple of minutes we were at Sams house.

"Yeah well, see you around, and thanks again, by the way, i owe you big time," he said.

"Nothing to thank for and you owe me nothing, I just did whatever someone else would do," I said and smiled. We said our goodbyes and Sam went home. It had become darker outside and I hurried back home because i hated to drive in the night, Gabby and the others came back home before me and I just went up to my room and took a long warm shower.

So what's up with that creepy Benjamin? and why does Brax Jessie to stay away from him?
