Chapter 16 - Hard times

Jessie P.O.V

Josh. He was on the floor, not moving. Heaths arms was around me and Bianca and I just stood there frozen watching Josh bleeding to death.

"Josh" I said with a weak voice but no answer were to be found.

"Josh" I said one more time and ran to him while the son of a b**** Gunno was taking away. I tried to make Josh talk to me so that he wouldn't lose conscious.

"Jess" he said and took my hand.

"Josh please don't leave me. I beg you.." I told him.

"I'm not leaving you babe" he said and began to close his eyes.

"Oh hell no Josh. Don't you die on me right now" I said angry wanting him to open his eyes but nothing was happening. I hugged him, wanting him to make me his again. Wanting him to get up and tell me that he will forever be mine but he didn't.

"Jess come here" Heath said and I hugged him thight seeing Nate and Hannah enter the room with a stretcher, putting Josh on it and taking him away. It didn't take long for me get up from Heath and litterally running out from the room. Heath shouted out for me but I didn't wanna talk to anyone, I just wanted to be near Josh. Twenty minutes later I had attended the hospital.

"Excuse me where can I find Josh Barrett, I guess he just arrived here" I asked with tears streaming down my face.

"He is on the second floor right now Ma'am, getting operated" the woman behind the desk said and I hurried to the stairs to get to the second floor. My phone was ringing each 3 minutes all from my brothers, Ricky, Bianca, Gabby and Phoebe but I didn't answer. I locked my phone and waited for the doctor to come out and give me the positive talk telling me Josh was going to get better. A moment later I saw Kyle, Casey, Phoebe and Gabby enter the corridor.

"Hey bestie. How are you doing? How is Josh? Gabby asked.

"I don't know yet" I kept it short and saw the doors of the operation room open.

"Nate" I said walking towards him knowing that he knew what I was meaning.

"Both bad and good"

"Start with the good"

"Well he got pretty lucky that he didn't get shot near the area he once got shot at which would be dangerous but he lost a lot of blood which means that we need someone to donate blood with the blood type AB to save him" Nate said.

"I've got AB+ is that good?" Kyle said.

"Yeah. Come with me" Nate told him and they walked away. I were sitting on a chair in front the hospital room hoping Josh would already wake up.

14 hours later

No improvements was made but Josh got the blood he needed and I were sitting next to him waiting for an eyelid to blink or a finger to move but nothing happened just as the 8 last hours that passed for the day. I heard someone try to open the door and I looked back on it but no one was there, maybe I was dreaming because of my tiredness but I had to be sure.

"Andy" I whispered but he was still sleeping on the chair next to the other side of Josh. "Andy" I said a little higher. He woke up this time.

"What is wrong" he asked.

"I don't know but stay with Josh. I heard someone open the door a while ago. I'll be right back" I told him.

I stood up from the chair and walked outside the room, I took a few more steps when I felt something on my mouth. I felt the room spin and fell unconscious to the ground.

Andy P.O.V

"Oi!" I shouted and pressed the emergency button when I saw what was happening through the plastic/glass window.

"Gunno. How are you here?" I asked when I saw who  it was that entered the room.

"I have got my tricks" he said and I moved to the other side to be in the way in front of Josh but it was to late. He had put something in the cord connected to Josh.

"What have you done?" I screamed at him and kicked him in the stomach making him suffer to hell and back.

"What was in it?" I asked but no answer so I asked again.

"WHAT WAS IN IT?" I asked one more time finally getting an answer out.

"Poison" he said shortly and grinned at me when I punched him for a one last time and felt two armes around me, taking me off him.

Brax and Kyle was taking me away from him while Heath was with Jessica trying to get her to wake up. Case on the other hand was getting the nurse and four police men were taking Gunno away for good this time.

Josh were crashing and we stood all now outside the room hoping he would get better.

Thirty minutes later

"What is going on?" I heard a voice say, it was Jessie. She woke up to a damn nightmare.

"The man who attacked you put poison in one of Josh's cord and they are trying everything to save him" Brax said and she went down to the ground staring on the floor, crying. Casey went towards her and tried to help her up but she was like stone, She couldn't move from her place.

Nate left Josh room and stood in front of us with a sad look on his face and puffy eyes.

"We did everything we could. I'm sorry" he said and went away.
