Chapter 8 - Pregnancy

Jessies POV

I stood in front of my brothers, Josh and his brother Andy and wondered who on earth Max was.

"Can I explain later?" Andy asked.

"No" both I and Brax shouted.

"Okay" Andy replied and looked down and later went with me, Brax, Heath and Josh into my hospital room where Casey and Kyle were.

"So Max, he was my friend" Andy said with a little bit sarcasm when he spoke friend out.

"One day I was going over to him when I saw him stand outside his house talking to two men. They were giving him a book, I went towards them but when they saw me they went away. I asked Max what they wanted from him but he just said that they were delivering a book that he had ordered from the internet. Later he went to the kitchen but he left the book on the table, I opened it and saw a hole in the book with a little plastic bag and in it I found drugs. I snitched on him to the cops and they took him away to Rehab but after he came out he moved into the bay again and threatened both me and Josh so he is kind of an enemy right now." Andy explained to us.

"Why didn't you tell us that before?" Brax asked.

"I couldn't risk someone's life" he answered him.

"Wait but if it wasn't Josh or Andy, it was Max but how would he know about Jessie or why would he want to harm her?" Casey asked.

"Maybe he's working for someone or maybe even with someone" Kyle said.

"I think I know who now" I said and they turned to me.

"Since Brax put Benjamins brother in jail, Benjamin would want revenge, so Patterson and Max worked together. I'm sure because look at the fact that Andy snitched on Max he would want to blame it all on him so we wouldn't suspect a thing and that Benjamin would like to hurt Brax so much so he used me as the target." I said.

"Yeah you have a point Jessie but we need to be sure, if we turn them both we gonna need evidence" Brax said.

"Well we just need them to talk while we record their voice or even film them speaking the truth" I said and the others nodded.

Some hours later

I was in my bed sleeping when I heard someone come into the room.

"Jess" a familiar voice said, I opened my eyes and saw Ricky.

"Hey, Ricky!" I said.

"Hey, are you doing okay?" she asked.

"Yeah" I answered and she looked like she was going to throw up or something like that.

"Ricky are you sure you're okay?" I asked her.

"Yeah" she said and went to the bathroom.

When she finally came out, I went up to her and she looked at me with a sad and confused face.

"Ricky please tell me what's going on" I said.

"Promise me not to tell anyone" she said and I nodded.

"I'm pregnant" she continued.

"Oh my god that is incredible" I said but her face just got sadder that ever.

"I'm not sure Jessie, and after what Brax did... I don't know what to do anymore" she said.

"What did he do?" I asked.

"Brax cheated on me" she said with tears in her eyes and walked out from the room but I just couldn't believe that she just said that. Brax my older brother, the smart and protective one. How could he do that to an independent woman like Ricky?
