Chapter 10 - Telling Them

Jessica's POV

~Four months later~

I haven't told anyone about Ricky yet because I didn't want to betray her, but now when I'm thinking through it again I felt like an idiot for not telling someone. I went down the stairs and saw Gabby and Casey sitting on the cough, I went to the kitchen and got my breakfast.

"Morning love birds" I said.

"Good Morning sis" Casey said.

"Morning bestie" Gabby replied.

They both came towards me and I began to talk.

"How is it going with Brax?" I asked Casey.

"Not good he is still sad and the worse thing is that he is drinking" Casey said.

"Excuse me? Drinking? Now that is enough." I said and walked out from the house towards my brothers house but stayed in front of it when I saw Kyle. I could feel Casey and Gabby watch me from behind.

"Hey Kyle, where is Darryl? I asked but before he said something I heard a familiar voice talk.

"My name is Brax" Brax said and went against me.

"What the hell? Are you drinking Brax?" I asked angrily.

"That is nun of your business" Brax said.

"Yes it is, you are the oldest and the most mature of all of us. You are suppose to have our backs and make sure no one of us gets in trouble. Brax we are family, stop act like a child." I said.

"The last time I checked family didn't lie to each other" he yelled and looked at me with serious eyes.

"What?" I asked hoping he didn't find out about me knowing about Ricky leaving, but why hope when that was exactly what was gonna happen.

"Don't play dumb Jessica. I know that you knew about Ricky leaving. Why didn't you tell me?" He asked disappointed.

"I'm sorry but I couldn't tell anyone. I promised her I would stay quiet." I said.

"Sorry doesn't cut it" he said and was about to walk in to the house when I shouted after him.

"Wait! Since you still are gonna find out in the future then listen to me now. There is something else that you have to know" I said and he turned around.

"What?" He asked.

"Ricky is..." I said but Kyle cut me off.

"Guys! The house is on fire!" He said.

"Oh god, Darcy is in there." Brax said and was about to run in when I pushed him away and ran in there instead. I heard him and Kyle shout my name but I didn't care, I had to save Darcy.

"Darcy! Are you here? Can you hear me? I shouted.

"Jessie, I'm stuck in the room. Help me please" she said with a fainting voice.

"Hold on Darcy, I'm coming for you baby cousin" I said and tried to break up the door and when I finally got her out, I took her with me and we were on our way out when something was about to fall on her.

"Darcy run, run" I said and she ran out but a thing fell on me and I blacked out.

Brax POV

Darcey ran out to us and we hugged her and asked if she was okay. She said that she was doing good but that Jessie was still in there. Heath came and I left Darcey with Heath, Bianca and Kyle. I ran in to the house and saw a girl on the floor, it was Jessica. I picked her up and took her out where the ambulance were. They took her and Darcey to the hospital to get them both checked up, when we were there Darcy was all good but Jessie had a problem that could make her sit in chair for the rest of her life and that is all because of me.

OMG I'M SO SO SORRY ABOUT MY BAD ASS UPDATE BUT I'm too lazy to update but I promise it will be a lot more updates this week.
