Chapter 13 - Lies

Jessicas P.O.V

It's been 2 weeks since I left the hospital and today was the day that I was going to the Rehab center to get help of a personal and professional trainer so I could surf again. I really hated to be like this, it just didn't feel right I mean not be able to walk without crutches is just holding me back from the person I really am. Sometimes I wish I were a werewolf because of their fast healing since I've been in the hospitals a hundred times the last months.

Oh man, I've been watching alot of Teen Wolf. I walked into the gym and tried to find a guy named Kai Parker.

"Excuse me do you know where I can find Kai Parker?" I asked a girl in the reception talking to a guy.

"Yeah he is right over there, on that treadmill" she said and pointed at the guy.

"Okay thank you" I said and went over to him.

"Hi I'm Jessica Braxton" I introduced myself.

"Hello Jessica, I'm Kai Parker and I'll be your personal trainer" he said and I nodded. He started to help me with the training and I actually started to make progress after two hour. Half an hour later Josh walked into the gym. When he saw me he came towards me and hugged me.

"Hi babe. What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"Not much, just came to check up on you, babe. Do you want a ride home?" He asked.

"Sure my training is over now too but don't you wanna do something?" I asked.

"Yea sure, we could go to the cinema and watch a movie" he said and we walked towards the car as my phone rang, it was Kyle. I was about to answer when my phone died. Damn it.

"Josh can I borrow your phone to call Kyle?" I asked.

"Sure" he said and I called Kyle.

"Hi bro, it's Jessie calling from Josh's phone since mine died, what did you want?" I asked him.

"Not much just wanted to make sure that you were okay" he answered.

"Yea I am good" I said.

"No nothing, eh I got to go, bye sis" he said and hung up real quick.

What was that? Just some seconds later Josh got a text from someone named Lynn...

"Josh who is Lynn?" I asked looking up from the phone.

"I don't know" He said and looked at me with a questioned look.

"Oh really? Well this LYNN says that she can't wait to meet you tonight." I answered upset.

"Josh stop the car" I said immediately. 

"What? Jess just listen" he said and took his phone to look at the text but I cut him off.

"Josh stop the damn car" I said and he stopped driving.

"Wait I can explain" he said and I listened.

"Explain what?"

"She is my ex and just yesterday she came home to me trying to get me back but I told her to get out but she kissed me and I ehm... kissed her back but I swear it was nothing. You are the only one for me" he said and I just nodded and opened the door to get the hell out because if I didn't I was pretty sure I was going to make something I was going to regret inside that car.

"Please just listen" he laid this hand on my arm not letting me go but I pulled away and walked out of the car mad. How could I be this stupid to fall in love with Josh Barrett. I felt the rain pour over me and it wasn't much walking with the damn crutches until I arrived home.

"Gabby! Are you home?" I shouted but didn't get an answer. I tried to get up to my room but I gave up half the way up because of the crutches.

"Damn it" I screamed and threw the crutches down letting them fall to the ground. I sat on the stairs and finally let my tears out, suddenly someone opened the door and I saw Casey, he came towards me. I stood up with the help of the stairs and hugged my brother.

"Don't cry baby sister" he said but I just couldn't stop the tears from running.
