CHAPTER 16

Iris P.O.V

My heart was beating fast , 2:30 she is not home yet . I thought walking around the living room .
3:00 , still not home . What's taking her too long .
4:00 , no not home yet , I now was panting and she is still not home .
5:00, I called her again and no answer . My heart will burst if she soes not come here in next few minutes . I think I will check in the rooms .
7:00 , I nearly checked the rooms a 20 times but she is not there .
10:00 , she is not home yet what the ...

12:00 , I hurry up to the kitchen and make food so if she comes back , she could have it .

Half and an hour passed but she is still not home , I am done with the food , please pick my call up Annie . I said out loud dialing her number . She will take my life out right now .
I packed the food and rushed into my car , when I was about to start it my phone rang and I picked it up to find Annie calling .
I hurriedly picked up the phone and put it to my year .
" Hello , Annie are you alright ? you okay?
......." I asked her thousands of questions that were filing my brain now . The only thing I needed was to hear her voice , now but she is not speaking . Annie , oh my god is she is alright , did someone no no no this is not possible .
"Annie answer me " I spoke to the phone , I was going to hang up but a long longed for voice stopped me .
" Iris , you idiot ! I am perfectly fine calm down ... I am not kidnapped or anything . I actually am at the big round highway right now at the top with Alex . " She said in a calm and assuring voice , I relaxed and started driving . Keeping the phone on speaker and let Annie talk " hurry and come , bye "
" I am , I will hang up now " I replied and said something I always am wanting to say to her and I do so " love you " I heard a chuckle from her and that was the end of it .
I turn the music up and start listening to the song I like ;

I stopped my car near to the top and took the food I bought , I spot Annie and Alex sight seeing at the place . I hurry stop at the trunk of the taxi that was standing there behind them and open the food . While I am Alex comes and grabs a chicken leg , munching a full bite . Annie also joins in taking a plate and filling it up . I suppress a smile and she takes the food to the railing , frowning I look down.

"shht , there's your cue " Alex from besides me whispers . I raise my eyebrow ' what cue ? '. "She can't lift her arm up, plus she is a right handed " she winks and takes her food to the other side. I gather some breath and go to Annie and stand besides her. Waiting for my chance.

She meets my eyes and looks down again . Looking on her plate and find I find that she did not eat a bite yet . Smirking I match her eyes and she frowns giving up . she brings the plate towards me with a little difficulty and I take it from her. I rip out a little piece of chicken and carry it towards her . She looks up to me and eats it without a question .

I keep wondering what happened to her and how she is here , especially this place. This place where her mother died and her body was never found . This place where I saw her for the first time , this place where my parents died and where I fell in love with her, despite the fact she was still five and I was eight .

I keep thinking what happened and why it took her a whole day . Deciding to ask her who now is standing towards the railing , I speak up " What happened and what why .." I stop thinking that she would not answer and I don't have any right over her . She looks at me and first gives me a questioning look but , chuckles afterwards .

" uh , why would you not ask ? "
" I have no right to ask you that " I say to her feeling sad and looking away .
" Why do you think that is ?" she asks and brings my head to her by putting a finger under my chin . I shudder .
"We don't have any relation " I say in a questioning way .
" Not true , we are friends remember and friends do share everything . " informing me she rests her palm on my cheek and I take my hand towards hers . Cold. I smile and tell " love you " and kiss her hand . She blushes and slaps my chest, making me chuckle .

" Actually when we were ....... I started driving_ " I did not let her complete and hurried say " but her arm is " she chuckles " I know , but I was driving from the left one . It's not that hard to . " she informs and I take the arm, opening her cuff buttons to examine her wound . Smilingly she continues and I keep at her arm .

Alex comes rushing from the other side " let's get out of here , they found his body " I realize what she is saying and hurry to the car ".........

Sorry too lazy to edit this. I wrote this when I was 12 and believe me I didn't know where the 'comma' or the 'full-stop' went. Any way too be honest, I have written written about 50 chapters by now, editing is not done.
