"Annie..." I let out her name in a whisper. Finally! Her... I jump off the tree and land right in front of her. I am getting a little overwhelmed by her now. She stands in front of me in a gray leather hoodie. And the fact that she knew I was here I won't even want to ask it or think about it now, she probably used a tracker or something. I take another step towards the girl standing in front of me; I love her a lot; as a friend of course.

Cold wind rusher across my face and takes off my hoodie. Now that's dramatic! Wind! Please, she's not my girlfriend.

She also comes closer to me and the both of us stand in an awkward silence as we don't know what we speak of after all this time. We stand with our face inches closer; not enough closer for our breaths to hitch on each other's faces. For what I notice her face is not displayed at all and did I mention she is wearing a handkerchief; if that's what it is on her face and here upper face hides behind the hoodie. She comes closer (more close) and removes the handkerchief from her face keeps her lips on top of my forehead. A sense of security rushes over me and I hug myself and not so soon that I hug her too and keep her body within myself.

I let out a sigh as she keeps her hands on my back and whispers slightly in my ear "Welcome back chick!"

I chuckle at her and retort as I do "It's as I do! Chuck" I mean as a reference to Chuck the farmer; the guy whom we love to tease. Once we even lit fireworks right up from his fields. Fun isn't it. Actually we by coincidence loved to tease him and in a conversation we let out the fact. She actually looks like him and I do like to tease her too. Plus she kind of looks like him, in some ways.

We both release from each other's hugs and shake hands and from there I take her hand like always and kiss it as I always do and when I do people always start staring at us. It's just a gesture of showing respect and love, people just don't understand that. Who cares about people in the first place! Most of them judge, and that's what I avoid; to judge.

"So what's the plan?" I ask her and she nods her head, excusing herself for thinking.

"Hmm! Let's just do this, you follow me silently without making any noise and I'll let you know where Jack and Rebecca are escorted to and you go there and I will too." She explains as I take mental notes in my head of what she said. And why does she insist on following me. Maybe she knows someone something that is meant to be after me. That's dangerous and exciting in some ways. And I wonder what she means by escorted to.

I hear the thuds of footsteps, they are coming back and Annie looked at me in an alarm. She uses her finger to tell me to go up the tree again and I do as she says. As I hear closely the footstep and the crunching leaves, turns out to be that the footsteps were coming from behind her. I remember putting back my hoodie on my head.

She turns around and looks at someone who is not visible to me yet. My guts yell 'Run or you'll regret'. I think about it a little find the idea satisfying, but I don't as Annie told me not to. I begin deciding meanwhile a voice made it a little solution for me.

"Annie and you again. Huh" She says in a heavy voice referring me as 'you'. Tell you what I think my throat will get punctured in this type of an environment. I would also say that there is no need to hide now. That's the same granny or the person you may say was disguised as Annie. I jumped out of the tree and she snickered. She looks angry and somewhat betrayed. I don't like this feeling evolving in my heart disgust and worry. Old one looks angry and that is bad.

Annie took a step back and had a pleading look on. What is going on in here? I can tell something is really bad. Annie took another step back and not so soon that the both of us were running from that lady or granny whatever she is.
