Chapter 41
~~~A/N~~~
I feel like I say this every time but I'm so sorry for not updating a lot. However, tysm for 99.9k I honestly can't believe it. Every time I check the viewer count I'm amazed. You guys are awesome and I love you all❤️. On a darker note, I have recently been informed that someone has been copying my story almost exactly and hasn't given me any credit for it. I have worked very hard on this story and to see stuff like this happen makes me a little angry. I'm not going to name names but you know who you are, so please either come up with your own ideas or get off Wattpad because that is plagiarism considering my story is copyrighted:)
Once Liam paid the check, I practically dragged him out of the restaurant. I wanted to be as far away from Miley as humanly possible.
"Oh my God," I sighed, rubbing my temples as we walked back up to our room.
"It's going to be fine. I'm not happy about it either, but at least we won't be on this boat for much longer." He offered.
"I almost forgot I'm meeting your family in a few days," I smiled, leaning over to kiss his cheek, "I can't believe it." I unlocked the room as fast as I could, and Liam shit the door behind us. Kicking my shoes off, I jumped back on to the unmade bed with Liam following shortly behind.
"Have I ever told you that you're insanely hot when you're jealous?" He smirked, wrapping an arm around my waist.
"Not until now, no." I blushed.
"You were very quick to mention that you were the one meeting my family, not her." He chuckled, brushing my hair out of the way to plant a trail of kisses down my neck.
"Well, what can I say? You are quite the charmer." I teased, tilting my head back to give him more access.
"I've heard I can be very persuasive." He murmured, moving my bikini strap out of the way.
"Oh, but not quite persuasive enough to cut into my tanning time!" I winked, hopping out of bed and grabbing my beach bag, leaving a dumbfounded Liam on the bed as I made my way up to the Sun Deck.
When Liam finally caught up to me, I was already laid back in a white pool chair in my coral bikini attempting to get tan.
"That was cruel, you know that?" He said, laying a towel out on the chair next to me.
"Oh I know." I grinned mischievously.
"Don't worry, you'll pay for that later." He winked, before slipping his shades back on and putting headphones in.
"Is that so?" I asked, taken a back that he would say something like that in public.
"Yep. Now hush, you're interrupting my tan time." He added.
"Copycat." I whispered, shocked that he was attempting to beat me at my own game. A waiter set my smoothie down on the table next to my chair, but not before giving Liam and I a dirty look.
"Two can play at this game, you know. You're not the only one that can be an uptight tease." He chuckled, looking over at me. Maybe it was the heat of the sun beating down on deck 7 but I swear I almost melted right then and there.
"Whatever." I sighed with fake nonchalance.
"You can 'whatever' me all you want, we both know I'm winning." He smirked.
"Oh, so we're keeping score now? Is that how it's gonna be?" I asked, sitting up and taking my sunglasses off.
"Depends, are you afraid to lose?"
"Oh, it's on."
