My name is Sky. I was born in Tokyo, Japan. I have an older brother, Chris. We never really got along as children. But recently, we have been getting closer. My mom and dad always fought. Our house was full of hatred. When they got divorced a few weeks ago, it ruined me. I wanted a happy family, but that dream died. I think our parents divorce is what brought Chris and I together. My mother is American and our father is Japanese. Which is why we lived in Tokyo and hence our last name, Takanashi. 

I'm getting ahead of myself. Before the divorce and when I was still very young, we weren't very wealthy. My mom and dad struggled to keep Chris and I well fed. We got kicked out of our home, for the rent wasn't getting paid. So, we had to stay at a crappy 2 -star hotel. We lived there for about three years. 

Now lets jump ahead to when i'm seven. When I was seven, we finally got out of the apartment and got a real house. My dad got a great job, as did mother, and we lived great. They did still fight though, about silly stuff too. When I was twelve, my parents said we were going to move to America. I wasn't happy at first, but then I thought it would be cool to live in a different country. 

We moved to a state called Ohio. I went to a school called West Carrington. It wasn't too great. I got picked on by a girl named Kiki Thompson. But she quit picking on me when a year later, a different girl came to school. I always saw her eating alone at lunch. One day, i got up and shared my sub with her. Her name is Mila Littner. We became very good friends, hanging out all the time.

Two months ago my dad and mom got a divorce. Chris and I saw it coming, but didn't know when. My dad moved back to Japan and now Chris and I live with our mother. Mila helped me through it. I'm over it but it still saddens me I can't see my dad ever again. I eneded up cutting my long hair, but not too short.

That leads me to today.

Not to mention I have a power called Gem.
