 Mila's POV

"Who knows the answer to this problem?" Mr. Lanchester asks, "No one? Takanashi? What about you?"

I look over at Sky and notice she is looking down at her desk. Mr. Lanchester clears his throat, "Takanashi."

Sky looks up and begins to blush. "Eh? What?"

The class giggles. Mr. Lanchester sighs, "I know it's morning and a Monday, but please pay attention, Miss."

"Y-yes sir. I'm sorry," Sky looks back down at her desk.

Ever since the situation with Luke being a demon and all, Sky has been out of it. She's been awfully quiet around me, which is very odd. She will talk, but very quietly and holds small conversations. She has been stressed out about the power of Gem. I have too, but she is more stressed. She is so heartbroken. She was betrayed. And it pisses me off.

After school, Sky looks over at me from her locker. "Hey. Wanna hit the arcade? Maybe it will help settle my mind," she asks.

I smile and nod my head. "Yeah."

We walk in the arcade and notice something different. Sky and I look at each other and smile. It's the first time I seen her smile in three days. "New games," I say to myself.

Yes. There were new games. More pinball machines, racing games, and new shooting games. Sky and I instantly run to the racing game.

We walk out and notice how dark it is. I look at my watch. 7:48. Crap. "Hey. It's getting late. Let's hurry home," I say.

"Yeah," Sky replies. "Hey, I feel a lot better. I'm over Luke. I guess I'm just not getting used to the fact of having powers yet. The whole things seems to supernatural to me. But, in a weird way, I like it."

I smile. "That's good. Now come on. You can spend the night tonight."

"Okay!" Sky says with enthusiasm.

We walk in my bedroom and I flop onto my bed and kick off my shoes. "Good day at arcade, huh?" I ask.

"Yeah. I love when the arcade gets an upgrade," Sky replies. "I'm gonna go get a shower. Is that okay?"

I nod, "Sure."

Sky leaves my room. I lay back onto my bed and close my eyes. I hear footsteps and quickly open my eyes and sit up. Deliyah is standing at the foot of my bed. She is as beautiful as ever. "Hello," she says in a calm voice.

"Hi."

"How are you two doing?"

"We are fine."

"List-"

"No. You listen," I cut Deliyah off, "I have decided to fight demons and bring back your sister."

"Oh? That's wonderful. Thank you."

"Sky said earlier that she is still trying to adjust to the fact of having Gem. But, she said she enjoys it. It makes life more interesting I guess."

Deliyah sits next to me and puts her hand on mine. "This means a lot to me. There are a lot more demons on Earth. And ever since that night that you let out your powers, demons have been gathering in this area because they felt that power. Please be careful."

"We will be. And how do we know who are demons?" I ask.

"You don't," she replies. "They come to you. Always be prepared to fight. There is a actually a small population of Durken's minions. His population consists of about one hundred. No more than that. Kill them off, and Durken is all you have left. Beat him...and my sister will be brought back and your lives will be back to normal."

"How do you know Gem will be brought back?" Sky asks as she walks in. "Sorry, I forgot a towel," she says as she opens my closet and takes a towel.

"Hello, Sky. I know because Durken is the one who killed my sister. He has her soul in his body. If you kill him, her and many others he killed will come back to life."

"Oh," Sky replies walking back out. "I will fight. I know how tough it is to lose someone you love," she says as she closes the door.

Deliyah and I stare at the door. I look back at Deliyah. "So, why did you come?" I ask.

"I just wanted to make sure we are on good grounds. I didn't want you two to be upset at me. I don't know why Gem wanted two humans to have her power, but once you defeat Durken we can find out." Deliyah stands up, "Take care. I will be back tomorrow morning."

"Wait," I stop her, "why are you coming tomorrow?"

She smiles, "To train you two of course."

"Eh?"

"You two need to get stronger if you want to defeat Durken. I will start training your muscles, gun, and sword skills. Tell Sky. See you later," she says as she flashes away.

I stand up and walk toward my balcony. I open the door and the cold air hits my face. Why is it so cold? It's almost summer. I grab my jacket and stand on the balcony. I start to think. Will Sky and I die from fighting? If so, we have let Deliyah down. She will never see her sister again...
