"Oh good their back." I said. I saw Marah and Alex walking back into the lunch room. I as well as everyone else was surprised they came together. They haven't spoke to each other in a while.
"Alright so this isn't going to work." Alex said. Looking at the family sitting at one lunch table together again. "Alright So John, Streets, Erika, and when Camila gets here they can sit here too. Livia, Trevor, Marah, and when Kayla gets here sit somewhere else." She commanded. All those people stood up and walked to another table. Nobody wants to mess with Alex, ever.
"Oh come on, invite them back. I think that was the first time in a long time that we all, with the exception of Kayla and Camila, were sitting at the same lunch table. I miss having the whole family together." I said to her.
"No Erika! After everything that happened we are no longer all a family. But if you want them here so bad, why don't you go sit with them." Alex said. I just sat there in silence because I'm only really close with streets in this group and I know she wasn't about to move.
Camila came in the lunch room threw her bag on the ground and sat down next to me. She was beyond upset. The weird part of it all is that she didn't storm in with Kayla. Kayla and Camila are always together.
"Should I even ask?" I asked.
"Camila join the club." Said Alex with a smirk on her face.
"I can't believe she would turn on you like that. I can't believe she would turn on me like that." Camila said. Everyone looked confused except for Alex.
"Kayla is sticking up for Livia now. We already choose our place that day everything went down. She thinks she can just change everything. I usually follow Kayla on everything because she is the smart one but not on this. Not on something like this when it requires turning on your friends. I would never turn on you guys ever, just like I would never turn against Kayla but I guess she doesn't feel the same way." Explained Camila.
I get it now. Camila never liked Livia in the first place. But you could tell that Kayla didn't have anything really against Livia. She just followed Camila because she voiced her opinion first and Kayla and Camila never separate so she just said that she supports Alex even though she didn't have a side. Camila must of said something really nasty about Livia and Kayla finally spoke up and told her how she really felt. Therefore getting Camila really upset texting Alex about everything. None of us were really talking to the other group anymore. The only way we had connections is if we went through Kayla and Camila because their friendship was so strong that they wouldn't separate no matter what and Kayla was still friends with Trevor so they were like a bridge. Now that they are fighting we'll probably never hear from each other ever again.
In walks Kayla by herself but happy. I was proud of Kayla, she finally spoke up to Camila and not let her run the show. She didn't even look over at us. She saw Livia and waved with a big genuine smile. That whole table welcomed her and gave her a spot in between Trevor and Livia. That whole table looked so happy in general. They were laughing and talking which was something this table hasn't done in a long time. All we do is argue and talk bad about people, usually Livia. I remember the times when we would all sit together. Last year we would sit together and laugh and it was just a better time for us. It wasn't until Livia transferred from Texas. I just wish everybody could be a little more mature about this.
