A Jinxx love story.....

First night of tour.....

I woke up, tried to roll over but hit something. I opened my eyes and realised it was the wall of my bunk, then I realised I wasn't with Jinxx. I looked down at my ring and started crying silently. I stayed like that for hours, crying and looking through pictures on my phone. Then I noticed the time on my phone, it was 5pm, time for soundcheck. But I didn't want to move, someone knocked on the wall beside my bunk and said "Lucy, it's time to do soundcheck so could you get up and dressed please?" It was Alex, I sighed, rolled over to the curtain, pulled it open and nodded.

I walked to the back room, shut the door and got dressed in a pair of old sweats and a plain grey vest top. I walked with my band to the stage, not saying a word. We went through soundcheck and it was great, but as soon as we finished I went straight back to my bunk. I didn't want to have to talk to anyone until I needed to. I curled up in my bunk again, and just when I was really comfy, my phone beeped. I checked it and saw it was a text from Ben.

B: Hey I'm outside your bus, can I come in an talk?

L: Sure I'm in my bunk

I heard the door open and close, and Ben walk down to my bunk. He opened the curtain and sighed, "Lucy why have you been crying?" he asked sweetly. I sighed, got out of my bunk and went to sit down in the back room. He sat opposite me and I said "I miss Jinxx, I miss my fiancee." He slid and sat next to me, putting an arm around me. "It's ok, you have me and the rest of us, and your band. I know how much it must hurt to be away from the one you love, but think of it this way, you'll see him again soon and you get to share your amazing music with thousands of people," he said sweetly.

And as soon as he said that I felt a lot better, I sat up and said "thanks Ben, I feel much better now." I smiled and then I had to kick him out so I could get ready. I chose to wear my tightest black leather trousers, my deep sea green corset top and a pair of matching deep sea green converse. I lightly curled my hair, and then moved onto make-up. I used a lot of black eyeliner and black mascara, and used my dark grey eyeshadow to make that smoky effect that makes women look scary yet beautiful. I looked in the mirror and I was ready, I walked out the the front lounge and saw my band was ready too. We walked back into the venue and into the lobby where we were set up for our meet and greet, I didn't think there was any point in us having one cause hardly anyone knew who we were, but we were told to do one so we did.

Then the door were opened and floods of kids ran to us, shoving my record and scraps of paper and posters at us. One girl asked ofr a picture so I leaned across the table so I could put an arm around her and take a picture. Another guy asked me to sign his chest, I laughed and said sure so I leant over the table to do so. I signed so many copies of my record and so many posters of me it was unreal. By the time the kids were in the actually performance space, we were worn out. But we had to play a show so we walked to the backstage area to do our final preparations.

That was where we saw AA, I hugged them all and then realised I was about to play a show in front of thousands of kids. I began to hyperventialte, "Danny help her" someone said. Danny came over to me, rested his hands on my shoulders and told me to breathe deep breaths. I did as he said and I started to feel better, "thanks Danny, I gotta do my vocal warm ups now," I said. He nodded and we both started making really weird sounds, well to me they were normal cause I did it everytime I was about to perform.

Then my intro music started, we had already decided earlier that my band would run on before me and I would run on last. So my band ran on and took their places, I waited a couple of seconds then ran out to my mic stand. I took the mic out, put the stand side stage and ran centre stage again.

"Now are you awesome fuckers ready to rock?" I asked, they all cheered and I motioned for my band to start playing.

When we finished I just stood there, looking out at the crowd. They were all cheering and chanting my name. It was amazing, I saw some kids holding up a sign saying 'we love Lucy' I laughed and waved to them. "Well, it's time for us to leave. But I want your help in welcoming the amazing, the astounding, the astonishing, Asking Alexandria!" I shouted as we ran off and AA ran on. I was stood side stage as they performed their set and they were amazing. They seemed way more confident than I did, but they had been doing this for a lot longer. When it was time for them to finish I made my way to the doors so I could say hi to the kids as they came out the venue. AA got to me and my band just as the doors opened for us all to go out and say hi.

I walked over to the barracades and said Hi to the kids standing the other side, one kid passed me his phone so I could say hi to one of his friends that wasnt able to make it to the gig. Another asked me to sign his face, others their arms. The final kid I spoke to said "will you marry me? Your so beautiful." I smiled and said "I'm sorry but I'm to old for you, and I'm already engaged to someone else." He smiled and nodded, I waved goodbye to everyone and got on my bus with my band. We were sat in the front lounge talking, when I realised I hadn't checked my phone since before the gig.

I went to my bunk to get my phone from it's charging place and saw I had missed calls from Jinxx and Suzella. I called to the guys that I was going to make a few calls in the back lounge. I called Jinxx first,

L: Hey wild one

J: Hey rebel how was your first show?

L: It was so amazing, our meet and greet before was crazy, the amount of people that wanted me to sign stuff was amazing, and after when I was saying hi to all the kids some guy asked me to marry him but I said I was to old for him and that I was already taken

J: So I've got competion?

L: There is no one that could ever be in competion with you, your awesome

J: Aww babe thats sweet, I guess your awesome too

L: You guess, I am awesome and I'm on my way to becoming a famous rock star so if you don't think I'm awesome I can easily go find another guy

J: NO don't leave me I love you, your the most awesome person on the planet

L: I was kidding, I love you too I would never want to be with anyone but you either, anyway I gotta call Suzella so I'll talk to you soon

J: I love you rebel, I'll talk to you soon

I hung up smiling, then called Suzella,

L: Hey Suz

S: Hey how was your show?

L: It was freaking amazing, I wish you could have been there as my best friend

S: I wish I could have been too but I'm sure I'll get to see you one day

L: My final date is back in home in Hollywood so maybe you could come see me then

S: Oh my god I could get all the guys to come aswell

We carried on talking for ages, until she said she was tired and wanted to go to bed. I knew that was a lie cause I heard Ashley in the back ground, but I didn't care cause I was tired as well. I hung up, walked to the front lounge to see only Alex and Jason sat there. "Why is it just you two?" I asked and they said "the loser guys got tired and went to their bunks, so we stayed here." I told them I was going to bed, so I hugged them night and changed into my pj's and curled u in my bunk after putting my phone on charge.

I was lying in my bunk just thinking, about everything. About how I was on my first tour and the first night went great, about how I was getting married and how my dad would never be able to walk me down the aisle. I instantly started to think of something else caue I didn't want to upset myself. After a while I actually did get tired, so I laid down and fell asleep thinking of Jinxx and how I was that much closer to seeing him again.
