A Jinxx love story.....

Finishing my second record.....

I was so close to finishing my second record, but I was stuck on the last song. It was about when you are told your nothing and your dreams will never come to fruition, that you can always look up to someone or something and your dreams will come true. I was struggling with the final few lines then of course the music to go with the lyrics, I had invited my band over for the day to finish the record then present it to the label.

I was waiting for them to arrive, I had sent Jinxx out with the girls for the day so I could completely focus on my record. I was pouring myself a huge mug of coffee when the doorbell rang, I went to answer it and it was my band. I ushered them all inside offered them drinks and then gave it to those who said yes and we headed to the studio. After a few hours of non stop work we had finished the music for the songs and I had finished all the lyrics, I had to edit them but that took me barely over forty minutes. I took the CD out the player, put it in a case and wrot on it 'My Heart' the second record.

"Well let's go show the label!" I said excitedly as we locked up everything and got into Alex's car. He drove us whilst blasting the radio, and my song Revenge Is All I Need came on. I sang along and everyone else 'air' played their instruments along with the song. We got to the label and went straight to my manager. I knocked on the door and waited until I heard him shout "come in."

I opened the door and his face lit up, "Lucy, baby, what a fantastic surprise. Am I right to assume that you have your finished second record?" I noddded and pulled the CD out of my back pocket of my jeans. I handed it over to him and he immediately put it in his computer and pressed play, a few seconds later Take Back Your Life started playing through the speakers. We listened to the entire record then he looked me dead in the eye and said "I love it. I think you have your first no.1 record here." I squealed and we hi fived over his table, then I turned and hi fived my band.

"I take it you wrote it all yourself again?" he said as he started typing stuff on his computer, "yeah, I wrote all the lyrics and these awesome guys helped me with some of the music," I said and then we started the long discussion on exactly what songs they helped write the music for so it could go in the little book that goes in the front of the record. Then I wrote my ackowledgements/thanks for the little book as well and then wrote out all the lyrics to go in the little book. Then we decided that tomorrow I was gonna do a photoshoot for promo photos, the record cover and in the little book inside the reord case.

"Thank you so much for being such an awesome manager and I'll see you tomorrow for the photoshoot," I said as I hugged my manager goodbye. I walked out with my band cheering and whooping as we walked back out to Alex's car. He drove me home then he and the guys went out to a bar, I said I didn't want to go cause I missed my two little girls. I took my key from my pocket and unlocked the door, as soon as I did I was hit with the most amazing smell, a mix of herbs and tomatoes. I followed the smell and found Jinxx in the kitchen with our two little girls in their high chairs, he was cooking dinner. Andrea made a really cute noise, Jinxx looked up at her and said "do you wanna help me? We need to get this ready before mommy gets home."

I laughed silently, walked into the kitchen and said "it's mummy thank you very much. I'm English so it's mummy." I walked over to him and kissed him on the cheek, then walked over to my girls to kiss them on the forehead's. I sat on the stool across from Jinxx as he continued cooking, "so my lovely wife, how did it go with your manager?" Jinxx asked as he stirred whatever was in the pot he was working with. "Well he loved the new record, he's putting it through the appropriate channels to become a physical CD in stores and stuff, I had to write my acknowledgements thanks thing, write out all the lyrics to he could put them in the little book and we sorted out a photoshoot tomorrow for the cover and some promo photos," I said.

He nodded just as Alexandria yawned the loudest yawn I had ever heard her yawn. "I'll put these two to bed and then we can enjoy what appears to be a lovely dinner you have prepared for the two of us," I said as I picked my two girls up out of their highchairs, walked up to Jinxx so he could kiss his daughters goodnight then walked upstairs and to the girls's room. I layed them down intheir beds after changing them into their pj's, kissed their forheads and turned on their mood lights. I shut the door softly and walked back downstairs, when I got back into the kitchen I stood directly behind Jinxx and wrapped my arms around his waist. I kissed his shoulder then let go and sat on the counter next to him, he went to the fridge, got out a bottle of wine and poured me a glass.

I took it and smiled, I crooked my finger and kissed him softly. I pulled away and pushed him to finish our dinner, as he did I sipped on my wine and we talked about everything under the sun. When he finished he picked my up bridal style and carried me to the dining room, he put me down by my seat, lit the candle he had set up and then ran back to get the dinner. He came back a minute later with two plates on one arm and the wine in an ice bucket in the other hand. He put the ice bucket down, put the plates down in each of our spots and refilled my glass and poured himself some.

He sat down across from me, raised his glass and said "to you and all your success." I raised mine and said "to us, may be go on till the end of time." We clinked our glasses and started our meal, it was really good, it was spagetti with a spicy tomato sauce. Whilst we ate we talked about how long it would be until one of us was on tour again and if we were both on tour at the same time who would take the kids. "Well obviously when you go on tour again Suzella's gonna go with you cause of Ashley so if the twins went with you they'd be well looked after, but if they went with me no one would be able to look after them whilst I performed. So I guess they'd have to go with you," I said sadly, I didn't want to ever have to leave my girls, but I also didn't want to dissapoint the fans.

"Let's not think of that now, let's just enjoy this moment right now and cross that bridge when we come to it," Jinxx said as he looked in my eyes with all the love and affection I probably looked at him with. We finished our dinner, then Jinxx loaded everything into the dishwasher and we curled up on the sofa together watching crappy tv, making jokes at it and drinking wine. We did this for hours until we got tired, we walked hand in hand upstairs to our room. Whilst I was changing into my pj's Jinxx checked on the girls, he came back in as I was pulling back the duvet. "They're fast asleep, I guess they take after their daddy, once they're asleep they're out for the night," Jinxx said laughing as he pulled off his shirt and throusers, he curled up in bed just wearing his boxers.

"I love you," I said as I curled up in his arms.

"I love you too," he said as he kissed the top of my head.
