Everything felt wrong. Glenn wasn't talking to me or even looking at me. It stung being upset with him and having him upset with me. The worst part of it was that he was getting ready to go on a dangerous run. One he was going on in my place. And that was what the fight was about.
I kept glancing over at him. But he refused to acknowledge me. I was finally deciding that I needed to just talk to him. But as I walked to him, he walked away. I frowned and watched him leave.
Waiting for Glenn to get back was agony. I kept myself as busy as I could, yet it didn't seem to matter. All I could do was worry about him. I was filled with dread and it was going to make me puke.
After what seemed to be forever, Glenn finally got back. I ran over and hugged him. A wave of relief went through me when he hugged back.
"I'm sorry but I was just worried," He said, putting his face in my hair.
"I was too," I whispered, "what if that fight had been the last thing between us?"
"Let's not fight again," Glenn said.
"Agreed," I said.
