I'm waiting for the elevator impatiently because I'm already fifteen minutes late due to my tux getting delivered late. Just what I need right Vince and Stephanie breathing down my neck for this. I have to admit my A game at work has been off since Angel and I broke up. I can't believe that she would think that I'd cheat her with trash like Kelly.
I remember like it was yesterday instead of months ago. I was walking down the stairs to meet Angel, and everyone when Kelly just jumped on my back out of nowhere asking if I liked how she felt pressed against me. When I said no she just laughed and I joined in because it was an extremely awkward moment I was so uncomfortable. Angel saw us and assumed the worse.

Reality hits me at the chime of the elevator stopping on my floor. The doors open and I'm hit with the repulsive smell of a vodka and vomit combo. When I look in I find out why, on the floor against the back wall sits the love of my life in a vomit covered white dress, shoeless, with tear streaks down her face, and her knees pulled to her chest.

"Angel?" I ask

She looks at me like a deer caught in headlights.

"H-hi Cody" Angel says wiping at her eyes with the backs of her hands

I can't help but notice the Batman bracelet I gave her on her left wrist.

"Ah, what happened?" I ask stepping through the doors and crouching down next to her.

She looks at me opens her mouth, closes it then burst into tears.

"Hey, don't cry." I whisper rubbing her shoulder

"I-I can't h-help it." She whimpers

I grab her hand and pull her to her feet.

"How about we go get you cleaned up then you can tell me what happened." I say

She nods her head and grabs her things before following me all while still holding my hand.

  Who would've thought that when I put on this dress for WrestleMania thirty-one tonight that I'd be right back with Cody at the end of the night. From the minute my hand was in his something inside me just felt a lot calmer and at piece. I find myself standing in the little hallway just inside his room door alone. I walk a little further inside the room and find him rummaging though a drawer.

"Just give me a minute and I'll have something for you to put on." He says

A second later he closes the drawer and hands me and armful of clothes.

"Thank you Cody, I know I've been a real bitch to you all because I let my head get away from me when I should've listened to my heart and believed what its been saying all this time." I say in one breath

I inhale deeply and stumble. He acts quickly and catches me.

"Have you eaten yet because you're a little pale?" Cody asks

I shake my head.

"I'll go get you something, but while I'm doing that why don't you go shower; and by the time you're done I'll be back with the food." He says

I nod in agreement and turn toward the bathroom before I enter the door I turn around and before I can think about what I'm about to do I kiss him. When I pull back he puts his hand on my cheek and runs his thumb under my right eye and catches a tear I didn't know was there.

"Go shower and get out of this nightmare then we'll eat and if you want you can tell me what happened okay?" Cody asks

I look into his sapphire eyes.

"Sounds like a plan." I say

I walk into the bathroom and shut the door. When I walk to the mirror  I don't recognize the woman looking back at me. Her eyes are swollen, makeup is running down both sides of her cheeks, her hair is falling loose from its billions of bobby pins that Paige put in it, and her dress well you can just imagine what it looks like plastered with orange and brown thanks to Nick. I shower and wash my hair twice before I feel like myself again.

  After cutting the water I dry off and step out. I grab the shirt and unfold it and find that its mine, a superman graphic that Cody got me as a joke at a Comic Con  we went to in California I pull it over my head smiling and slide on the boxers covered in batman symbols I got for him that same day as payback for getting me the T-shirt. When I'm done I ball up my dress inside the towel and walk out.
