Love is In the Cosmos

I look in the mirror and fix my outfit, smoky eye makeup, and bright red lips before deciding that its perfect. I walk into my room, grab my duffel off the bed, and my phone off the table by the door. I lock the door behind me and turn to get go to the elevator. As I'm walking closer a notice a familar tall frame pressing the down arrow. Cody. I think to myself as I exhale and continue walking I hear the echo of my  heels on the tiled floor as I get closer. I walk up beside him and throw my duffel on the floor. Just so you know we haven't talked since our date monday. I glance over at him and take in his profile. Damn he's gorgeous I think to myself as I quickly glance away.

"You know it's rude to stare at people right Angel?" He asks with a smile as he turns to face me

I feel the heat creeping its way up my neck.

"Yeah I do. Sorry I wasn't trying to be rude." I say

He looks at me fully this time scanning me from head to toe. I feel myself holding my breath as I watch his eyes. 

"Don't worry it's fine because I was staring at you too." He says as the elevator reaches our floor and he picks up my duffel as I walk into the elevator.

In no time we're standing in the parking lot of the Wells Fargo arena in the middle of Philadelphia. He's carrying my bag for me and I feel myself begin to relax. I find myself wanting to know where this is going to go from here, but  I'm afraid to ask so I stay quiet. Cody shuts the trunk and I look at the car this time it's black and red instead of blue and white.

"I'm going to go get ready for my match now if you don't mind." I say as he hands me my duffel 

His fingers brush my hand and I freeze. Its so hard to breathe. I think to myself.

"I'll catch you later. Oh by the way I'm accompanying you to the ring later tonight." He says

I smile and hug him before walking off and into my lockeroom that I'm sharing with Kelly, Brie, Nikki, Eva Marie, and my other close friend Paige.

"About damn time you got here." Kelly says as I walk into the room and throw my duffel down

"Kelly, be nice." Brie says 

"Yeah, Brie is right." Nikki says

"So did you kiss him again?" Eva asks 

I feel the heat creeping into my cheeks and I look at her.

"Okay I know Kelly found out from Cody, but how'd you find out?" I ask Eva as I sit on the bench and take off my heels 

She hands me a bottle of water before sitting down next to me and running her fingers through her  bright red hair.

"Kelly told me. Before you get mad at her I just want  to say something. She only told me because I asked her  what was going on between you and Cody. I do atmit he's gorgeous and I'd kill to be you Angel." Eva states before beginning to undress and put on her wrestling attire.

Tonight Eva, me, and Brie go againist Kelly, Nikki, and Paige and I'm nervous as hell. It's not that afraid of getting hurt or anything because it's takes some to get some. I just don't want the outcome of out match going to one of the other girls' heads. After all Nikki is a sore loser, Kelly hates to win for some unknown reason, and Paige well I'm just going to say is that when she loses she's a crazy bitch. I'm not worried about my side of the match because we're all good sports when it comes to losing.

I just laugh at the fact that they are teasing me about this whole Cody situation, and I walk over and start stripping my dress off to get ready for our match later on. Just as my dress is going over my head I feel a draft and I instantly know the door is open. Please don't be Cody. Please don't be Cody. Please please please don't be Cody. I think in my head.
