I lay down on my bed curled up next to Laurence, who has his arm around me. I let him stay here since he technically doesn't have an official home. When I brought him here he wanted me to stay with him for a little while before I made my rounds.
He's asleep by now so I slip out of his grasp and creep out of my house. I head for Kawaii-Chan and Dante's home. I knock on their door and Kawaii-Chan answers.
"Hello Aphmau-Senpai! Kawaii-Chan is happy to see you! Come in!" Kawaii-Chan ushers me in where sweets are in the table.
"Oh Kawaii-Chan! I know you love to bake, but you should be resting! You're having a baby after all." I sit down at the table and grab a cookie.
"Don't worry about Kawaii-Chan Aphmau-Senpai. Kawaii-Chan still has 2 months to wait before Nekoette-Tan arrives!" I cover my face with my hand.
"2 months!? You should be resting!" I chuckle. Kawaii-Chan sighs.
"I guess so." I smile and gesture toward the ladder leading to their bedroom.
"Go rest. I'll see you later." Kawaii-Chan smiles and heads toward the ladder as I leave her home.

"Hey Donna. What's up?" I walk up to Donna who is holding her twin boys, who were born during the war. Yip sits next to her. He has a human form now.
"I'm great. How are you?" She replies.
"I'm ok. How are the boys?" I ask.
"Oh, they're great. Me and Logan are taking shifts watching them. Of course, I get night duty. Unless he has work during the day." She smiles at me.
"That's good. Laurence is resting for the next two days. Then we'll leave for Ember Island." Donna nods, deep in thought.
"Ok. You should check on everyone else, I'm sure they have things they would like to discuss with you before you leave." I nod.
"Alright. See you later!" I walk away to go check on the guards.

"Hey Garroth. What are you doing?" I walk toward the telescope he's using.
"I'm on Bird's Eye Patrol, or as you would call it, watching from above." He replies.
"Cool. What've you been doing on your free time?" I ask.
"Eh, nothing much. I've been taking up guard duty a lot recently, so Dante could take care of Kawaii-Chan." I smile.
"That's kind of you." Garroth nods.
"What's been going on with you and Laurence?" Garroth looks at me.
"Not much. Just been training Laurence in dreams. He found Kulzak's realm. His hands are green." I chuckle, remembering Laurence's reaction to his marking. Garroth smiles.
"Go home and rest. It's almost night." I look out the window and see the setting sun.
"Wow yea. The day went to fast. See ya later!" I go down the ladder after waving goodbye.

I walk up the stairs to my room and crawl into bed trying not to wake Laurence, but he stirs anyways.
"Aphmau? What are you doing here?" He asks groggily, his eyes barely open.
"I'm going to sleep silly. You've been asleep all day." I reply smiling at him. He closes his again and puts his arms around me. I curl up next to him and put my head on his chest. I feel him smile into my hair and I close my eyes.
