Well, the day after, I woke up, my shoulders aching.

I see Laurence sleeping on the couch in my room. I roll my shoulders and sit up. I feel something feathery touch my back and I jump. Laurence looks up. I touch my back gently and feel the same feathery thing.

"Laurence..." I mutter, although he's already making his way toward me. I feel like I have control over a new body part.

Laurence helps me up and and examines my back. He gasps.

"What?" I ask frantically, worried that it's bad.

"They're beautiful..." He touches something on me but it's not my back or my arm, but I can feel him touching me. "Lift your shoulders." He tells me. I do, and I see what he's talking about. Wings. My wings.

I turn toward him, shocked, my mouth wide open. He hugs me and try's to calm me down.

I hear a knock at my door. I jump down the stairs and see Gems at my door. Her long blonde hair hangs over her shoulders, the locks by her ears are braided. Her pale blue eyes make me feel nervous. They stand out against her black shirt.

"Uh hello? I was thinking that The Lord lives here, do you know where he is?" She asks.

"Hello, Gems, this may surprise you, but I am the Lord of Phoenix Drop." I reply.

"Hmm, I thought, the Lord would be someone, hm, less evil?" My eyes widen. "Yes, I know your secret. I would prefer we talked somewhere private."

Still in shock, I nodded and closed the door to go change. I looked down at my feet as I walked up the stairs. Laurence looked at me, perplexed.

"What's wrong?" He asks.

"Gems knows I'm evil. Before you say anything, I'm going to meet her and her friends in the woods. You can watch from afar but do not interfere. Ok?" He purses his lips and nods.

"So, Aphmau." Gems says. I nod. "We have much to explain. You know of the Divine Warriors?" I nod again. "Well, we have heard from sources, that you are the daughter of Irene the Matron." I roll my shoulders, forgetting that I will reveal my wings by doing so. Jolene glances behind me at my now unfurled, large, black wings.

"Nice wings." Jolene compliments. She unfurls her smaller white wings, with red tips. Jordan and Gems follow her lead. Jordan's navy blue wings unfurl, overlapping Gems purple ones.

"We never properly introduced ourselves to you. Jordan, son of Shad the Destroyer. Jolene, Daughter of Memphia the Fury, and me, Gems, Daughter of Enzi the Keeper." I find myself smiling, knowing I'm not the only one.

"Our parents own magical relics, too. Each of the Divine Warriors had 3 children, when they went against the rules of Magicks, which said they could only have 2, but as you can see, they had 3. Each of their  third children were born, cursed with eternal darkness. Lady Irene learned how to take away the child's darkness and protect it in their relic. But the hold was not strong enough. The relics being held in each of the Divine Warriors dimensions, came to life and began to seek a way to combine with the child." I bite my lip and frown.

"The four of us are the only known children of the Warriors, that made their way into their parents dimension and consume their darkness. As far as we know, Jolene is only one to remember growing up with her parent." Jolene smiles.

"I provide quite helpful knowledge." Jolene smirks a bit.

"S-so, you guys are kinda evil, too?" I ask cautiously.

"Yes, and unless you can help us find The Sword Of The Fallen, then none of us will be able to control our urge to kill. And then the world as you know it would end." Gems states.

"What's The Sword Of The Fallen?" I ask, curious about their mission.

"It's the sword that our parents left behind for us.

"You in or not?" Jordan speaks for the first time in the meeting.

"Yes." I reply. "Anything to help."
