Laurence runs over and kisses my cheek. We move around and make a triangle formation in front of the large door. It has swirls and hand prints covering it.

"Uh. Should we say something?" I whisper to Gems, who is in the front of the triangle, since she's the leader.

"Probably..." She whispers to me. "We, the children of the Divine Warriors, are here to claim the Sword of the Fallen!" She shouts in a clear voice.

I concentrate and bite my lip, trying to conjure my healing power. All of as sudden I see my hands start to sparkle and I smile.

Gems holds out her hand and ice sprouts from her palm.

Evi clenches his fist and a shadows emerge from his fists.

Jolene smiles and fire flys from her hands.

Jordan holds out both his hands and water jumps from his fingers.

Laurence looks around tries to concentrate. I glance at him, and as soon as I look away I hear a loud boom. I snap my head towards him and I see him hovering a few feet in the air with small explosions shooting from his feet. He's beaming.

"The things we can conjure, can be thrown. Well, Aphmau, can you throw your sparkles?" Evi looks at me.

"Yep. I hope..." I mutter the last part and let him continue.

"We can try throwing them at the door. 3... 2... 1!" All of a sudden, water, shadows, fire, water, explosions, and sparkles fly at the detailed door.

A loud boom sounds from behind us. We immediately turn to Laurence. He's smiling sheepishly. We laugh and turn back to the door.

I cautiously make my way to it. As soon as I'm 5 feet away I'm pulled toward it. It opens enough for me to be pulled in, then it closes. I collapse and hear a booming voice from the other side of the doors.

"We'll take her if you don't mind." I hear yelling on the other side, and explosions go off.

"Laurence! I'm fine!" I cry out, hoping he can hear me. Then everything is silent.

"Aph! I can hear you! I can't get in, it won't take me! Just find it! I love you!" I smile and put my hand on the door, tracing a swirl.

I glance around I see a pedestal. It doesn't have sword though. There is a woman instead. She has black hair and brown eyes, quite similar to me, except her hair isn't turning red, and she's in an elegant white dress, unlike me. I'm in armor I got during the war.

"Hello dearie. Why do you look so frightened?" She asks me, swinging her feet.

"W-who are you?" I ask, pulling out my sword, and she chuckles.

"You won't need to know that. But you do need this." She waves her hand and a sword with a gold and red hilt appears in her hand. I gasp.

"T-the Sword of the Fallen? H-h-how did you get it!" I ask holding my sword higher.

"Ha! You know absolutely nothing darling. I'm surprised. All you need to know is that you'll have to fight me for. To prove yourself worthy." She giggles.

"I'm the daughter of Irene the Matron, the Divine Warrior! I am worthy." I hold my stance.

"Hahaha! I'm quite aware of that sweetie! If I gave it to you right off the bat then my companions would think I'm soft for you! As if. Hmph." She huffs.

"Oh my Irene... How am I supposed to fight her with only my powers! They're useless against her unless I get hurt. I don't even know if I can heal myself! I know she powers, by the way she summoned the sword-" I mutter, but I'm cut off.

"Sweetheart. I wouldn't only give you a power that's useless when you battle alone! You have another. Discover it and maybe that'll help you." She gets up and summons a purple sword. We look at each other for a while, as I try to summon this 'other power' that I have.

All of a sudden my sword turns white and my hair gets longer. I'm in white shorts and a white shirt. I have glistening white armor over it. I unfurl my wings and smile at her. Her mouth is wide open and she's staring at me. I take my chance. I charge at her and seconds later I find myself with my sword at her neck.

"What's up?" I ask in a casual tone, still smiling.

"I didn't think you'd find your other form." She pushes me off her and starts to attack but I block it.

"Not so fast." I fling her sword out of her hand and her jaw drops. She summons another, quickly recovering. I lunge at her and pin her to the ground, my sword once again at her throat.

"Eh. Sloppy. But you'll learn. Here." She summons the Sword of the Fallen once again and hands it to me. As soon as I touch it, I appear in front of the doors, where my friends are sitting. I'm breathing heavily and they run over.

"A-Aphmau! You look different..." Laurence is the first at my side. I look at a lock of my hair and see that it's black again. Laurence takes the sword from me and his hands fade from green, back to his normal skin color.

We take turns holding the sword and watch our markings disappear.

"Wow... We're still children of the Divine Warriors but with no markings..." Jolene comments, examining her hair, which is now a light brown.

"So. What if there are more dangers out there? There must be. Since we're the most powerful children of the Divine Warriors, then we could be in charge of getting rid of those dangers." I say.

"That's true. It's a great idea. But we'd need a team name. Suggestions?" Gems looks around at us.

"It should start with 'Divine' so people know it's us. Divine Children?" Laurence replies.

"That's good. Anything else?" He glances around at us. I shake my head.

"I got nothing. The Divine Children... It has a nice ring to it. In my opinion." I say and the others nod.

"What about our individual names? We could use our parents titles, but put our names in." Evi crosses his legs.

"That's great! Gems the Keeper, Aphmau the Matron, Jolene the Fury, Jordan the Destroyer, Laurence the Keeper, and Evi the Protecter." Jordan says. I smile and nod.

"We should take an oath. Pledge our allegiance to the group." Laurence comments and raise our right hands.

"We, the third children of the Divine Warriors pledge to stay loyal to our parents and our group, The Divine Children. We pledge to stay loyal, kind, honest, and fair to all, and protect this realm from harm." Gems smiles at us and we repeat her words.

And there, a great journey began. The journey of six powerful adults.
Children of the powerful, almighty, Divine Warriors.
The children of the gods.
Aphmau, Laurence, Jordan, Jolene, Gems, and Evi.
The Divine Children.
