"Sword of the fallen?" Laurence asks quietly. We're in the boys tree house, talking about what they want me to do.

"Yes. They say our markings," I gesture to my hair "will become more extreme, the longer we wait, or, depending on the emotions we feel, they will progress faster or slower." He nods.

"What are their markings?" He asks curiously.

"Gems's, is her eyes. Jolene's is her hair. If you haven't noticed, her hair isn't completely purple. It's partly brown. Jordan, is his arms. He has big, navy blue swirls on them. By the way, I already told Garroth all of this." I tell him.

He smiles at me.
He kisses me and holds my head in his hands. I lean into him. We hear noises on the stairs and immediately pull apart, nervous about the boys seeing us kissing.

I told Malachi about my being evil. He doesn't fully understand, but he is wise enough to know that I'm not the old me anymore.

Zoey emerges from the stair well and smiles at us. She places some toys in the toy chest I moved up here. I smile back and look over the railing where I see Garroth sitting on the sand, looking at the sea creatures Kiki collected.

I pull Laurence down the stairs and dash to the beach. As I get closer, I notice another person next to him. Gems.

I sit next to them and Laurence follows my lead.

"What's up?" Gems asks, with her solemn expression, as usual.

"Nothing, just going around the village, my daily rounds." I reply.

"We're just talking about where the Sword could be, and the consequences of not finding it." Garroth answers for her.

"Is it true that if your emotions and markings get out of control, then you could take over the world, and stuff like that?" Laurence asks.

"Yes, it is." Gems tells him.

"What are your stories, of your pasts, you know?" I ask. Gems nods.

"I was wondering when you'd ask. I'll start with Jolene. See, we all grew up with our parents, we just don't have memories of them. Except Jolene. Her mother, Memphia The Fury. She was said to be nice. She put Jolene's memories in her relic for her to consume, she knew Jolene would. She lived in a village called Menjuno. This village worshipped Memphia, which is why Memphia left Jolene there. With the help of her village priest, she learned to control her dreams but went too far and found her way into her mother's realm." I nod.

"Jordan was an Orphan, his dad abandoned him as soon as he was born, he scared of the curse that was mentioned in your mothers prophesy." She says to me.

"His mom died, and in his depression, when he began to understand that he had no parents, he resorted to dreams, went to far, blah blah, you know the rest." Laurence nods.

"I know how he felt. Where is he?" Laurence asks.

"Guard tower." Gems replies.

"I'm gonna talk to him." He kisses my cheek and he runs off.

"As for me, I grew up with my mom. When I got older, I started going to a lot of libraries and eventually found out my dad was a Divine Warrior. I did enough research that I found my way into his realm, where a second there is a year here. His realm was different from the other Warriors realms, where a minute there was a year here. I spent about 10 seconds there before I consumed the relic. When I returned, I learned that my mother had committed suicide since I disappeared and I was all she had left." She finishes.

"Depressing." Garroth says.

"I'm gonna go talk to Jolene." I say.

I don't have much to talk about, except for the whole "can Gemoth happen?" thing. PLZ TELL ME! PLZ!
