You sat on the bench at the park where Hunter was supposed to meet you, you phone buzzed and it was a text from him
'Sorry i'm running late baby girl i'll be there in 5 mins xx'

You went on Instagram and started scrolling through your feed when someone sat next to you, you looked up to see Brian Miller, the schools nerd also they guy you sit across from in Calculus, defiantly a positive. He was wearing a sweater vest and perfectly ironed slacks. His hair was packed with way too much gel and smelled of an egg sandwich and gym clothes.
'Umm hey Brian'
'Hey Ella'
He was staring at you so you decided to speak up
'Umm what are you doing here?' trying your best to be nice
'oh umm I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go get some pizza with me?'

You grab your things and walk over to Hunter and you both started walking over to the park in an awkward silence
