"But I wanna go!"

"You're not going to school today and that's final."

"What if Jelani comes and gets me?"

"He's not. Tak and Chino will be here. You'll be safe."

"I don't want you to leave."

"I'll be back before you know it. I'll get Chris to get your school work."

"Can you talk to Sherika for me?", I asked.

"Yeah, but if she hit a nerve. I'm cussin her ass out."

"It's going to be boring here."

"You're making me feel bad.", he said and I smiled.

"Good."

He sat down beside me and I sat on his lap.

"You can't leave me.", I mumbled on his neck.

"Come on Nic."

"Fine. Go on then."

I got off his lap and crossed my arms. 

"Don't be like that. I'll be back soon."

"At like. 5.", I said with a attitude.

"Calm down Nic."

The doorbell rung so, I went downstairs and opened the door.

"Hey.", Chino said and I smiled.

"You doin alright?", Omelly asked and I nodded.

"YOUR FRIENDS ARE HERE!"

"OKAY!"

I went in the kitchen and got the pizza out the oven.

"You guys hungry?"

"Nah, but thank you.", Chino said. 

I took out 2 pieces and put it in the microwave.

"Nika?!", Chrjs yelled and I smiled.

"In here!"

"Glad to see you doing better. I talked to your mom yesterday."

"You told her what happened?", I asked and he nodded.

"She's going to talk to you about it later."

"Everybody else gets to go to school except me."

"It's not like anybody wants to go."

"Can you get my stuff?", I asked and he nodded.

"I talked to Sherika yesterday."

"What she say?"

"Not anything good."

"Great.", I said and plopped on the couch.

"No eating in the living room.", Meek said.

I put my feet on the table and continued eating. Meek walked by and put my feet down.

"Just because you're staying home doesn't mean you can break the rules."

"You never told me any rules."

"I'll do that later. Chino, start putting the cameras up."

"Can Chris stay? Please?"
