I awoke the next morning with a splitting head ache and minor ringing in my ears. What woke me up was the feeling of movement like footsteps. I slowly opened my eyes as realized I was in Daryl's arms, he was taking me somewhere. He must have felt me wake up in his arms,

"Hey kiddo, how ya feelin'?"

"..Still.. dizzy."

"I know, are ya in pain?"

"..Yea.."

"I'll get ya some meds for that."

I heard a door open and then I was outside, the hot sun beaming down on my skin felt amazing.

"On my hunt, I found a car. Someone left the keys inside the thing. Turns out we do gotta ride home, good thing too; I don't think ya would make it too far with this injury of yer's"

He opened the car door of the passenger side and sat me inside. As soon as I sat down I felt like I was going to throw up again. I reached out and tried to push him out of the way but I didn't make it in time before it all came up. I leaned out the door heaving while my hand was still on his stomach trying to move him. As a result I threw up all over his boots and the ground around him. Once the wave was over I laid my head back in the car and wiped my mouth off.

"Sorry..." I said in a low tone.

"Don't worry 'bout it kiddo, I just hope yer gonna be alrite." He said softly before walking to the driver's side and getting in. I had already assumed that he loaded all of our stuff and the stuff we found in the car.

"Since it only 'bout an hour till we get back home can ya wait for breakfast?"

"That's... fine..." I was still slurring my words pretty badly. Hopefully Hershel would be able to help me with this hands down terrible concussion. Even though we didn't have all the right medical treatments he knew some stuff we could use. I felt Daryl tap my shoulder so I looked over and saw he was holding out his hand that held two small pills in it. I took them from him and popped them into my mouth. He then handed me a bottle of water which I used to wash them down. I held my cold hand against my forehead; it did help with the throbbing pain. As he drove down the road I could feel every bump, every time he accelerated and braked, and especially every time he turned. Every sound was ether intensified or drowned out by the sound of ringing that persisted; at least the nausea had gone down. I tried to stay awake but I couldn't help but fall asleep again. I just couldn't keep any energy going.

I woke up to feeling very cold; I could feel very cold compresses across my forehead, neck and on my wrists. I barley had the strength to sit up but I did have enough to move my head around to see where I was. I looked around, it all looked very familiar. Where did Daryl take me?

"Hey Alice, you feeling ok?"

I looked over and saw Glenn sitting in a chair beside me.

"Where am I?" I said weakly.

"Your back at camp, Daryl came running in with you in his arms saying you took a pretty bad fall and needed Hershel immediately, he actually looked very distressed."

"Where is he?"

"Outside with Rick, he was getting worried about you. You've been asleep for a little over a day." Glenn informed me.

"Im really hungry."

" I can imagine, you haven't had anything to eat for two days. We tried to wake you up to eat but you couldn't stay awake for more than a minute or so. Think you got enough energy to stand up?"

I nodded yes, Glenn got up and helped me sit up. I took off the compresses and sat them beside me. Swinging my legs over the edge of the cot I was laying in I could feel my constant headache come back but not as strong. Glenn helped me stand up and supported me as I managed to walk out of the tent to outside. The sun hit my eyes and made me wince but felt amazing on my cold skin. Glenn walked me to the table everyone sat at for meals, sitting me next to Beth who rubbed my shoulder in comfort and asking me how I felt. Now I noticed my wrist was bandaged tightly and bruises all over the arm I landed on. Maggie sat across from me with Sophia sitting next to her. Lori sat a plate of food in front of me, and I not even looking to see what It was started eating with the little bit of energy I could muster up. I didn't even bother to try and recognize the taste; I was way too hungry for that.
