The Next Step: The Wedding That Reunited A-Troupe (MAJOR RECONSTRUCTION)

Chapter Fifty : The Day That We All Have Been Waiting For (1)

Riley's POV:
The day has finally arrived. It's the I am finally getting married to the love of my life. I barely got any sleep last probably mostly because of Emily throwing up and Amanda snoring .

I wake up to the smell of banana pancakes , my favourite. I walk into see Em and Amanda making breakfast and Giselle steaming my dress .

"Here comes the beautiful soon to be Mrs Barrett !" Emily screeches when she sees me . "Aw thanks guys . You really didn't need to do this . What time is it ? " I ask .

"Shit ! It's 11 o'clock! " Chloe screams . "What ! The wedding starts at half 12 . We're not even dressed yet." I scream at the top of my lungs .

"Riley calm down I have called Michelle and she is ready . The hair dresser is on her way and the make up artist too . " Emily days trying to calm me down and luckily for her its working.

James' POV:
I got loads of sleep last you know why because I don't worry 'bout it . My mom woke me up at 10 o'clock and the boys came a half an hour later with their suits.

My mom makes them breakfast because apparently growing boys need food . Mom goes on to tell us about her wedding day and how one of my sisters were made . That is a story I will definitely want to forget!

We get into our suits and my mom and sisters, who arrived while we were getting ready , take pictures.

We get in the car and we are on our way to the church . The girls are going to the hospital to see Michelle and Eldon isn't here because he's bringing Michelle to the church .

I can't I am finally getting married. I look around and I see all of the previous A-Troupe . There's Stephanie, Tiffany , Cierra, Noah (who is going out with Richelle ) , Thalia ( sadly she brought Adam ) and Amanda. Amanda wasn't a bridesmaid because we didn't have enough money in our budget for another bridesmaid. Amanda was fine with that since she didn't have anyone except from A-Troupe except West and Kate invited to her wedding.

I look over at Thalia and she's smiling , something on Thalia's hand catches my eye. She's wearing an engagement ring. Did Adam propose to her ?

My thoughts are interrupted by music playing and West tapping me on the shoulder saying 'it's time bro .'

I see Chloe , Giselle and Michelle and then I see Riley . There are no words to describe how I feel when I see her. She has never looked so beautiful in her entire life .

Riley's POV:
After Chloe , Giselle and Michelle have walked/pushed down the aisle it's my turn . I look over at Emily, who is walking me down instead of being my bridesmaid , and she quotes James by saying ' don't even worry 'bout it ' , I giggle as I give a hug .

This is it I am officially getting married to the love of my life.

I walk down the aisle and James turns around and I could see how astonished he was . I feels like the first time we fell in love all over again.

I look around the people who come there's Stephanie, Noah, Richelle , Tiffany , Thalia ,  Cierra and Amanda. I look at James again and start crying.

I reach the alter and the priest starts the ceremony. He begins by welcoming everyone and he tells the story of our Nationals duet which makes me cry even more but there are  happy tears .

While the priest is babbling on about something James tells me to look over at Thalia's left hand . I take a quick peak enough of one to realise she wearing an engagement ring. A BLOODY ENGAGEMENT RING !

However I have I am not going to let this spoil my special day . This day is about James and I . No else .

The sermon moves quickly as we didn't want a really long one . The priest announces its time to do our vows . James goes first

"Riley ever since the moment I saw you , I knew you liked me . " everyone laughs, typical James always being funny." And everyone here knew we are destined to be together. We have been through some of the greatest things that no other couple has ever been through  . It is when I am with you that I feel strongest . I promise to love till my very last breath . To make you breakfast every morning. To bring home a carton of milk when it is need . To be by your side through your toughest battles and to never love anyone else for as long as I shall live . I love you Ri and nothing can ever change it . " and of course everyone starts crying, including me . Then it's my turn .

"James I don't know where to start . There are eight letters in I the statement 'I love you ' . A letter for each year that we have together. And you are right for once I did love you since we first met . I promise to nag you whenever I can and to make you food whenever you and the boys are having a video game night . But more importantly I promise to love you until the moment we are both forgotten, which will hopefully be never ."

The priest announces that is time for the rings . Thankfully Eldon didn't forget to pick them up .

James : I James Kyle Barrett
Riley : I Riley Jessica Wilson
James : take thee Riley Wilson
Riley : take thee James Barrett
James : to be my lawful wedded wife
Riley : to be my lawful
wedded husband .
James : for richer
Riley : for poorer
James : in sickness
Riley : and In health .
James : to love
Riley: and too cherish
James : till death do us part
Riley: till death do us part.

The priest finishes off the ceremony with the traditional way "By the power invested in me I pronounce you husband and wife.You may now kiss the bride ." And boy does he kiss me .

We walk down the aisle towards the front entrance of the church . Everyone is following us out and now it's time for the pictures.

We organised for pictures to be taken down at the beach where we lost my grandmother's necklace , which Emily still has no knowledge of . Our photographer, Mikey , takes the best pictures in all of the county . He always does our pictures for awards and headshots for kids at the studio .

While we are taking the pictures I pull Emily aside to ask her about Adam or has she noticed something different about Thalia's appearance . Emily has no idea what I am talking about so I have no choice but to tell her .

"Em , I think Adam proposed to Thalia." I say timidly hoping she won't bite my head off because her pregnancy hormones are all over the place . "What?" Is all she can say . "Are you okay?" I ask I hoping for a proper answer . "Yeah I am ....I'm just shocked that's all . Anyways I'm happy with Hunter . Adam can do what he wants ." She says and I feel weights lifted off my shoulders.

Now we can have the rest of our dream wedding in peace !!!!!
