Chapter Sixty-Seven

James' POV:
I'm just coming home from dropping Michelle and Stephanie home . I had to show Steph the strings of the apartment .

As I pull into the drive way I reflect on how far Riley and have come .

We started as acquaintances not even that , then I guess everything changed when we went to get the Regionals costumes . She saw me in a new way , not 'oh he's such a douche bag ' way but the 'I think he's sweet ' way . I failed my math tests she helped me pass them with the help of Michelle when she persuaded my my mom to keep me at the studio . We went on a date , won Regionals , got the Nationals duet , made the biggest mistake of my life , finished the list , got Riley back , won Nationals . We survived a lot in the lead up to Internationals . But we don't talk about Internationals because good and bad things happened and not just to us , to the whole team .

I put my key into the door and turn it . I see my beautiful wife standing there in kitchen going through some photo albums .

There's pictures of our first date , pictures that we took at Nationals and Internationals . There's also some of the studio , our parents and some of the kids at our studio .

She smiles as she sees me walking into the kitchen . I walk up to her and put my arms around her waist and start pecking her shoulders with kisses.

"You know what I want to do?" I say . "I have feeling " she replies . " well can we do it ." I ask .

"Okay ! You start unpacking in the living room , I'll start the kitchen. " Riley says totally misinterpreting what I said .

Riley's POV:
An hour later we have unpacked most of our stuff but we have to buy some furniture for a few rooms .

James comes down and asks me to help him make the beds. As we start to climb the staircase when the doorbell rings. Our first proper visitor !

"I'll get " I say to James who is ahead of me .

The thing is I wish I never opened the door . As I stand in absolute the visitor says

"I always told you scowling doesn't suit you "
