A/N : so I realised that the only language in this book is English. So I'm learning French in school so expect some Français ( French ) . Translations will be at the bottom.
James POV:
It's around four o'clock and I can't sleep . I'm probably overtired and it's not because it's four o'clock, if you get my drift.
I hear someone in the kitchen , I presume it's Amanda so I decide to go talk to her .
"Hey Amanda " I say and she jumps in surprise. Her eyes are red and it looks like she's been crying. A lot .
"Oh hey James did I wake you up ? " she asks . "No I couldn't sleep " I say not giving away why I couldn't sleep .
"How was Paris ?" She asks making small talk . "C'était excellent " I say showing off my French lingo .
"Est ce que parle Français?" Obviously she know it better than me . "Ehhh....... tā " I say with no idea what on earth I'm saying. "James that's Irish " once again don't know what to say . "Nein" I think that's Swedish.
"James that's German " . She chuckles. How many languages does this girl know ?
"Okay enough about my not so good knowledge of languages. What's wrong or as the would say in French , ça va? " she lightly giggles .
"No seriously it looks like you've been crying. Is everything okay ?" I say seriously, well as serious I can get .
Amanda inhales a deep breath and it looks like she's really uncomfortable.
"Have you ever loved someone but they were with someone else ? But every time you talk to that person you get angry because it feels like they are never going to go out with you ?" When she says it looks like a ton of weight has been lifted off . But sadly I know how she's feeling. .
"Yea I know how you feel . When Riley and I broke up because of the thing with Beth , she got together with Charlie. Every time I saw the two of them together I felt like a knife being plunged into my heart . They only thing I can say is wait . I worked for me . Look at me now I'm happily married and nothing in the world could be better . You know why ? Because I waited . It takes time , Amanda. " I say hoping I help her out .
Amanda's POV:
James is right it takes time . Everything does . So I'm going to wait until West realises what is missing out on.
"So are going to tell who this mysterious man is ?" James asks breaking me out of my deep thoughts." Oh you don't know him . He lives somewhere in the west ." I say .
We continue talking for a while until we both decide to get some sleep .
As I fall asleep the only thing I can think about West ....

To be honest I never thought I would be back here. But I guess this is where my real friends are back here , where everything started ........
