As the years flew by they group got older and wiser things changed;

James and Riley went on to have 2 more children, twins Jodi and Rory. The family were happy and everything was turning out just the way it was pictured by Jamez and Riley. Until one day, Riley was terribly sick and went to the doctor and got tests done. Weeks later the tests confirmed a life changing illness. Riley had stage 4 kidney cancer.

Riley lived the rest of her days with no regrets. On a cold winters night as Riley crawled herself into bed with her husband for one final last sleep. A sleep she would never wake up from....

Riley Barrett died on the 15 of October 2036 at the age of 53...

Michelle and Eldon had a magical wedding under the stars on a warm summers day. The couple welcomed a handsome son years later, called Dylan and soon followed the birth of a girl, Anna. They couple tried to convince James to move to New York after the death of his wife so that they could help with his grief but where ever she was he was with. Eldon and Michelle lived into their 80's and died of natural causes, only a year apart.

Emily and Hunter finally got married the same year Kayley was born. And they eventually had their baby girl but it was a long road. Due to a complication it was hard for Emily to get pregnant again but it happened and they could not be happier. Emily was deeply saddened by the tragic loss of her only sister but after months of sleepless nights she worked through it. Emily lived well into her seventies but died of alzhiemers disease. Hunter was sad but he knew that he would be with his love again, soon. Hunted died five months after his wife, some say he died of a lonely heart.

Amanda stayed for a few years in Canada but when she found a passion for fashion she started her own business, 'Me & I'. She will always remember how ever year her friends would come to Paris and stay with Chloe and would watch her fashion show during Paris Fashion Week. Amanda never remarried after Max because she was to busy. But who needs a husband when you have great friends. Amanda died because of an clot in her brain.

Chloe remained in France till the day she died. She rarely came home because as she would say 'I'm too busy, I can't'. She missed her native land but there was too much pressure from the French studio that she never thought of herself. And over worked herself which did not end will. On a wet Monday afternoon on her way he from work Chloe was hit by a lorry and was in a coma for weeks. After test it was discovered that Chloe sadly was brain dead. She returned home to Canada for the first time in 49 years

West, he was sulky after Chloe left and he regrets not going with her to Paris. He got offered an acting job in London in a remake of the British show 'Bikers Groove' which he took. West loved England but his real love was in Paris. West never went out with anyone else after Chloe, he died broken hearted much like Hunter did.

Stephanie, went back to LA shortly after. People say her come back to the film and TV industry is the best they ever saw in Hollywood. She won 3 Oscars and 7 Emmy's in her career. The richer Stephanie got, the more rebellious she became. She became a drug and alcohol addict, she died of a drug overdose. She was later striped of her titles that she had earned and also lost her respect from people including her friends and family.

This group of friends, who are not all world famous are still admired by little children. The were the best team to come out of The Next Step Studio and they will remain that way until the day the world ends...
