The funeral day seemed to approach so quickly. It was like it was just yesterday when Miss Kate died. As Riley stood looking into her wardrobe she remembered the last funeral she went to, it was Marley's funeral. Three years had passed since the unfortunate day of James and Riley's little angels funeral. Within those three years Riley hadn't stepped inside a church or graveyard. Only because it was Miss Kate's funeral she wouldn't be going. It would have been wrong of her not to go to this event Miss Kate was a like a mother to her from the day she stepped foot in that dance studio. And now that mother figure has left just like Riley's baby.

Marley seemed to be in her mind more today than ever. Maybe because the anniversary of her death was soon or maybe the fact Riley is still grieving, which explains a lot because a mother can never get over the loss of a child, especially their first born. Riley was lucky James had taken the day off because she desperately needed him today.

"Babe, we to go if we want to make it to the service on time," James said popping his head around their bedroom door.

"Yeah, I'm ready now anyway. Is Em' riding with us?" Riley asked.

"No, she's going on her own,"

With that they were in their way to the service. It was a quite journey to the church but just being with each other was a comfort to the couple. They parked the car and got out. All the memories came flooding back once again and Riley was struggling to keep back the tears only allowing a single tear drop to slid down her cheek.
