I walked into the dining hall, and stopped in my tracks instantly. Caleb and Calleo were sitting together at a four seat table. I knew they wanted to talk about the next four weeks, but I couldn't. It was just too wierd. I knew I had to choose between them, but Caleb is my best friend and I don't have feelings for him like that. And I barely know Calleo. Truthfully, he kind of scares me. He's so dark and brooding.

I try walking past them without being noticed, but I fail. They notice me instantly.

"Ellie." Caleb calls.

I turn and look at them, smiling softly. "Hey."

"Sit with us." he says, gesturing towards a seat across from them.

I walk over to them and gesture towards the food line. "I have to get my lunch first."

"No, you don't." Calleo says. "I got you your favorite. A spicy chicken sandwich with tomato, Ice burgh lettuce, and mayo."

I raise my eyebrows at him. "How did you know that?"

He smirks. "I know more than you think."

I sit down and he pushed the wrapped sandwich towards me. I unwrap it and lift it to my mouth, taking a small bite. It was spicier than usual. Within my second bite my mouth was burning.

Calleo pushed a bottle of sprite towards me. I unscrew the cap and take a sip. The fire in my mouth is put out and I take another bite of the sandwich.

"So, who is going first?" Caleb asks, looking at me.

I knew what he meant. "I'm not sure." I thought about it, looking between Caleb and Calleo. "Pick a number between one and one-hundred." I tell them.

My number is 45.

"Four." Caleb says.

I look at Calleo. He stares into my eyes, studying my face. "Forty-five."

I stare, wide-eyed, at him. "How did you know that?"

He gives a non-committal shrug. "Lucky guess."

I laugh. "I guess so."

"What time am I picking you up?" Caleb asks me.

I smile at him. He knows me so well. "You'll have to talk to my father about that."

"Wait, wait, wait." Calleo says. "I picked the right number, shouldn't I be picking you up later?"

"No. I always pick the person who isn't close to the number I chose."

"Why?"

"Because I'm a backwards person."

He looks disappointed and I almost feel bad.

"The two weeks for us don't start until tonight, so do you want to set some ground rules for us?" Caleb asks.

"Um..."

My mind is still wrapped around Calleo's disappointed expression and why its on his face.

"How about going no further than third base?" Calleo suggests.

Caleb nods in agreement, giving me an odd look.

"What are the bases?" I ask, totally clueless.

They both start laughing.

"I'm never dated before!" I tell them.

They stop laughing.

"First base is kissing. "Caleb says. "Second base is..touching private areas, and third base is oral."
