~~JOULES POV~~
"Will you just stop asking me where we're going i'm not going to tell you." I told him still annoyed that he'd been asking me the same question for the last 15 minutes we'd been walking. We walked for a few more minuted until we at our destination.
"Why did you bring me here?" he asked.
"When was the last time you were here?" I crossed my arms and looked at him.
"Months? I don't know maybe longer." he questioned.
"Well, I think he's what you need right now. Go talk to him." I urged.
He looked at me. "Why are you doing this?"
"Because, I want you to take the advice you gave me when I didn't want to go home. To just face what you've been avoiding. My hope is that my visiting your Dad you'll maybe realize that you're throwing away this extroardinary life the to of you have worked for. I know you don't want to let him down, but right now your headed down that path....Just go. Maybe you'll feel different afterard."
He looked to be contemplaing it for a while and then he walked into the cemetery hands in pocket and head hung low. I smiled at the fact that he was willing to do what i was asking. It wasn't easy but I knew that he could do it. I didn't ant to intrude on what he was doing so I took a seat on the bench outside of the gates and took out my phone. I dialed my Dads number. It rung a few times before he answered.
"Hey Dad."
"Hey sweetie how are you? Are you doing alright?"
"Yeah, I'm good. Trying to help Tom, it's a lot harder than I thought. But I think he's really starting to come around. I just got him to go visit his Dads grave site."
"Wow. How'd you manage that."
"I gave him one of my infamous speechs. I think this could really help."
"Well you can't force someone to change if they don't want to."
"But Dad, I can see it in his eyes. There's something that he's not telling me. Something that's causing him to act like this. But I know he wants to change."
"Joules, I think you're the reason he's acting this way. It started right after you and Michael started dating. Have you told him that you two broke up?" he asked.
"Not yet. I don't want to sit here and make things about me when I came here for him."
"Joules, Do you want to be with him?" he asked bluntly.
"Maybe not now. But I do...l-love him. And yes, I want to be with him." I admitted.
"Then I think that's what you need to tell him."
"Dad, I can't. I want him to change because he wants to. I don't want him to change because I said I loved him and that's why."
"Well sweetie, it's ultimately your choice. Whatever you think is best."
"Thanks Dad, I've gotta go, Toms here." I looked up see him standing there.
"Alright love you." he hung up.
"Ready to go?" he asked, he was acting weird.
"Umm yeah." I looked around.
We got up and walked back towards the hotel. I didn't want to say anything so I wouldn't upset him, how was I suppose to know what happened. After walking for about 10 minutes of walking we arrived at the hotel. I followed him into the elevator and he pressed my floor. Once the doors opened I led him to my room and we stopped outside the door. "Thank you for trying. But I think you really should go home." he said and gave me a kiss on the cheek before walking away.
