Fear is not knowing. Why do we fear change, because its different than what we're used to. Why do we fear difference, because we don't understand it. Why don't we try to understand, because we fear failing. Why do we fear failing, because we don't want to disappoint. Why don't we want to disappoint, because we don't know that there's more to life than simply pleasing ourselves and others. Why do we fear the unknown, because we are taught to.
What is a mental disorder? Why is it something we need to cure. Something we pity in people. A struggle? We all struggle in our own ways. The inability to function in society like you're supposed to? Their brain works differently ours? All of our brains work and look different. Why must we make everything and everyone like us. Why can't we adjust ourselves rather than change others? Better yet, why can't we all live together as we are?
What controls you?
