When I woke up, my eyes traveled towards where Damon's bed would normally be. He and his bed weren't there, I rubbed my eyes hoping that when I reopen my eyes Damon would fill my vision. To my demise, his charming smile wasn't in front of me. But instead, it was Aiden. His eyelids covered his eyes while he clutched onto a pillow. I fell asleep in Aiden's bed, I realized. I seem to have a bad habit sleeping in the Hensen brothers's beds.
I walked drearily to the kitchen and living room, only my silhouette was in the area of the rooms. Looking out the window, it seemed to be moderatly late. Maybe three o'clock PM at the latest. My stomach grumbled loudly, causing me to flinch by the sudden sound. I began walking back towards my bedroom, mostly so I can put on normal clothes.
When I opened my bedroom door, I saw a head of long dark brown hair, a towel wrapped around his waist. Blushing, I awkwardly fumbled in the dresser drawers to find a pair of jeans and a clean shirt. a light poke tapped me on the shoulders, turning back I noticed Damon smiling. Not a smirk, a natural smile.
"Do you want to go with me to a restaurant?" Damon asked as he lifted an cobalt blue tee shirt over his head.
I nodded. "Sure, just let me get some clothes on and put some makeup on."
Damon ruffled my hair. "You should do your hair too. It looks like shit."
I rolled my eyes. "Thanks, jerk."
"No problem." A smirk playing on Damon's face. "Now turn around. I have to put on pants."
My face flushed as I turned around, grabbing a pair of jeans and a light green basic v neck shirt. Green made my typically dull gray eyes really stand out. Walking to the bathroom to avoid Damon dressing and whatnot. While I applied light makeup, I glanced into the bathroom mirror and noticed how bright and happy I looked.
The only plus about sharing rooms with Damon, you get to see him shirtless. Which was pretty impressive to say the least. Most males at my school were the tall and scrawny type, Brendon is a perfect example. He was extremely tall, but scrawny. He slept over at my house often, so I've seen him shirtless and it looked like a xylophone. His ribcage sticking out like stupid girls tongues in Facebook profile pictures.
Leaving the bathroom, I lightly knocked on the bedroom door. Afraid that if I burst in unannouced I'd see more Damon then I frankly need to at the moment. I blushed slightly at my thoughts, at the moment? I don't need to see Damon nude ever!
A tight grip on shoulders caused me to flinch. "Boo."
"Damon!" I nearly screamed, placing my hand on my heart to hear the irregular beating pattern. "You screamed the shit out of me!"
Damon chuckled slightly. "Scaring people is a hobby of mine. You ready to go?"
I brushed the nonexistent dirt off my shirt. "Yeah, let's go."
When we exited the complex, our walk towards the restaurant was silent besides the sounds of cars buzzing past us. A whip of freezing cold wind flew at me, causing me to shiver violently.
Damon turned down to me, a concerned look in his emerald eyes. "Are you okay? Why didn't you bring a hoodie?"
"I-I-I'm f-fine." I stuttered as I pulled myself into a tight hug.
"Your extreme stuttering says otherwise." Damon said with a slight smile. He began to take off his deep blue hoodie. "Put this on."
"No." I denied. "You'll be cold."
Damon smirked. "You do know that vampires are naturally cold, right?"
I shook my head. "I thought that was some Twilight bullshit."
