My Only Retreat

Tongue Tied

I was completely tongue tied. I just stood there in shock like a helpless little puppy. Oli stared back at me long enough for Vic to come out of his room. Vic was soon followed by Emma. Next thing I know everyone from the bus is coming out, the band members, the tech guys, and my little brothers. We were all staring at Oli for a good five minutes and Oli was staring back at us. I saw Vic look at me in my peripherals. He looked at me like he wanted to say something like it was my call. 

My mouth opened a few times but nothing wanted to come out. Finally my mouth spoke some words. "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?" Oli just stood there looking kind of surprised. I never cussed at him and I'm not the one to usually cuss at someone. 

"I uhh needed them money to buy some band equipment. I didn't have enough money to buy it on my own." he said looking at the ground. I knew he was lying. He fiddles with his hands and looks at the ground when he's lying. He's a terrible liar. 

"WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST ASK FOR SOME MONEY FROM THE BANDS FUNDS?" I was now yelling at the top of my lungs. I was furious. 

"The guys didn't agree with my choice and wouldn't give me any money," he said still looking at the ground and fiddling with his hands. 

I ran up to him and slapped him across the face. You could hear the sound of the slap from the back of the bus. That's when Jaime finally woke up and looked around to see what was happening. "WHY DO YOU KEEP LYING TO ME?! I KNOW YOU ARE!" I screamed. 

"I'm sorry." Oli whispered and was trying to grab my face to kiss me. I knew what he was trying to do and I wasn't going to let it happen especially with the whole bus looking at us. I kept slapping his hands away. I look back and give everyone the go back to your room and give us sometime alone look. Matt and Kyle looked at Oli with the evil eye until they came to their bunks. 

"What were you planning? I know it wasn't for band equipment. I know you were lying to me." I said starting to calm down a bit. 

Oli started looking down at the ground and shaking. It was like he was scared to tell me like a little kid trying to tell his parent that he wrote on the wall with his crayon even though he was told not to. "I was going to throw you an end of warped party. I wanted it to be a surprise." he said fast without a breath. 

"So you were gonna spend my money for my own surprise party? sweet idea but not the right way to do something like that." I said my blood beginning to boil again. 

"I know. I just didn't have any money and I asked Vic and Emma if it was ok. They thought it was a good idea and said they would help out too. Even your brothers were in on it." He said still shaking. He got closer to me and started grabbing my face and looking down at my lips. 

I looked at his lips giving him signals that I wanted to kiss him too. His lips were just so irresistable that I had to give in.
