(The Previous Night)

After we ate, and talked a little more I walked back to her house with her, when she asked why I just said so she "wouldn't be lonely". After everything she had gone through, I didn't feel like she was safe being alone.

Anyways, I took her home around 9, and carried her up to her room, since she was already half asleep

As soon as I set her down, I could tell that she instantly fell asleep, if she hadn't already on the walk over.

I headed for the door, and started to open it.

Right before I walked out I heard her move, and that's when I realized that I still didn't want to leave.

Instead, I backed up a bit closing the door and then walked over to her bed and laid down next to her. She moved a bit, but then seemed to calm back down.

Right before I fell asleep, I wrapped my right arm around her; and then to my greatest shock she rolled over and snuggled up against my chest.

"Oh my god.. oh my god what the heck did I just witness?!?!" I screamed in my head.

"Nothing much love. Don't worry, your safe with me." The strange human reassured me, blood running from the corner of his mouth.

I was pushing myself against a tree, as far away from the strange man as I could get myself.

I glanced around his head, there were.... bodies.. everywhere.

"Don't pay attention to that love, everything is ok, just come with me." The man refocused himself to me, offering his hand.

I just stared at his hand, like it was the most disgusting thing I had ever seen in my life.

"Come love, we must leave, please hurry." He said, urging me to grab his hand.

"I-i.. what's your name?"

"My name is.."

I woke up panting, out of breath.

"Jackie? What's wrong?" I heard a familiar voice ask me.

I turned my head to the side, finding Chris laying next to me.

I calmed down a bit, but then whipped my head around to check the time

4:28 a.m.

"I- I just had a b-bad dream." I replied, still shaking.

"Are you ok?" He questioned me.

"Uh.. I uh, think so."

He sat up and hugged me.

"What was your dream about?" He questioned, rubbing my right arm.

"I.. don't know."

He just laughed a little bit, and laid down again, probably going back to sleep.

"What's so funny?" I asked, glaring at him, even though he probably couldn't see due to the darkness.

"Nothing, nothing at all."

I just let out a huff, and laid back down, facing away from him.

"Whatever." Then I fell back asleep.
