"yeah?" i asked my sister as soon as i answered her call
"are you at the mall right now?"
"uhm. yes pero pauwi naman na ako. i just ate my dinner. tell mom that i wont be eating there"
"don't go home yet. buy me some gummy worms. i ran out of stock"
"you're really weird, sis. i cant believe mas matanda ka sakin" i heard her laugh on the other line and i just smiled
"wag na wag kang pupunta sa kwarto ko mamaya para humingi ng gummy worms"
"damn thats unfair. okay i take back what i said"
"okay bye na nga. drive safely okay? love you" then the line went off
i headed to the grocery store and bought 5 packs of gummy worms. i was in a hurry but i stopped half way when i noticed a familiar face.
yeah. of course. how could i ever forget the face of the person that i was planning to kill.
unti-unti na namang uminit ang ulo ko nang natandaan ko kung paano niya sinira ang araw ko nung lunes. i was about to enter the coffee shop where he was standing when i noticed that he was with someone else. and its a girl
sounds creepy but i really wore my cap and went inside the coffee shop. i went to the counter and ordered a cappuccino drink and sat at the nearest seat. to be safe, i held my phone in front of my face and listened to what they were talking about
"look Mia, you're boring. whatever you think about us, forget it. i dont plan on having a girlfriend and especially not you"
damn dude, that was harsh. i clicked the camera icon on my phone at tinutok ko iyon sa kanilang dalawa. i can really smell a nice scene here
"what the hell Blake? we're doing good these days. what are you saying?" indenial pa yung girl. isnt it obvious na casanova tong kaharap niya? darn his name screams playboy
i saw the guy stood up and the girl also did
"i don't do serious relationships Mia, whatever there is between us, its over"
in a split second, the girl's palm landed on the face of the 'Blake' guy and im literally holding my laughter
"you are a fucking jerk and a downright asshole. goddamnit why did i even waste my time with you?! youre nothing but a complete asshat. damn you Blake Erasmo. akala mo porket gwapo ka, mapapasayo na ang lahat? well i curse you! sinusumpa ko na hindi mapapasayo ang unang babaeng mamahalin mo!" i looked at the girl storming out of the coffee shop as the tears were flowing from his eyes but as i turn my attention to my phone which is still recording a video, i saw two furious eyes staring at me- or at the lens of the camera on my phone. oh damn. he caught me. i pressed the red circle and kept my phone on my bag
i saw 'blake' walking towards me on my peripheral view. i looked down to cover my face but blake took my hat off and how stupid of me to lift my head up
"you really are something miss Fallon Monteverde" who wouldn't be shocked if someone you barely knew actually knows your name?
"how did you know my name?" he just ignored my question. he grabbed my wrist and dragged me outside the coffee shop
"hey! let go of me! damn you. Akala mo nakalimutan ko yung ginawa mo sakin nung lunes?! let me fucking go! i swear im gonna kill you!" nagpupumiglas pa ako kaya nung binitawan niya ang kamay ko, napaatras ako
"fine, kill me. can you?" he was too close to me and i didn't even noticed how he ended up holding my waist and almost an inch apart from my face. naduduling ako sa mga titig niya. i saw his eyeballs move and i can say that he is looking at my lips. my eyes also did the same and i saw how a smirk formed on his lips. i immediately pushed him and i heard him laugh a little
"i know you liked it Fallon. don't worry, i'll make sure that i'll be that close to you every time or at least be with you every single minute."
he left me dumbfounded and he was right. after the next days, weeks, and months, he really is always beside me, literally
