Tekkitopia was silent for the longest time. People locked themselves away, inside their bases. As if walls could block contact to others. Duncan spent his time on complete isolation, alone in that huge, Frankenstein style castle that held many scientific secrets, as well as magical ones. Rythian walled himself in his own castle, the black rock walls never leaving his sight. He would practice magic alone. All alone in that massive fortress of his. Sadness was in the atmosphere, hanging. A cloud that engulfed people's hearts, it slowly ate way at their mind. Tekkitopia was doomed. Doomed as soon as Reni stepped into that huge castle of Duncan's.
Reni;
"For heavens' sake, Ridge! Just let me go down! I need to, their going to all go insane and blow each other up!"I proclaimed to the smug bastard as he waved his hand in a careless fashion.
"Oh, Sweetheart! You know I'd love to! But big Mr God man doesn't want you to!"He replied with a sweet, yet undeniably fake, smile.
I growl in frustration as he laughed at me. If only I could show him, show him what pain truly feels like. If I had my way, Ridge would be 6ft under, writhing in snow. I glare at him and try-Gods I tried- but it seemed that the only power I felt was a mild coldness in my palms. I was in Ridge's office, watching him put his feet up on his weathered desk. Bookshelves lined the walls and scrolls and books were scattered around his room. His feet dropped from the desk.
Ridge started to look nervous."H-Hey, Reni... It's no big deal right? I can't do anything! Notch is the one that decides!"
My anger flared, ironically, because ice shards formed around me. The ice glowed and the room seemed to darken. I looked at him as the ice shards angled.
"Dear Ridgedog,"I smiled sweetly,"You will take me down to their world."
"But R-Reni-"
My eyes narrowed."You will take me to their world and you will help me."
"O-Okay! Fine!!"He held his hands up in a concede like fashion and offered a small smile.
"Good."I returned a cold, but real, smile as I shot the shards. Two hit, one hitting Ridge in the arm, the other in the stomach. Just as planned.
Ridge grunted in pain as the ice melted into a stream of liquid contaminated with blood. He looked at her, his face communicating.'Why?'
A smile still on my face, I replied."I always knew that to torture the best, you need to experience the worst pain."

A promise was a promise, and Ridge grudgingly met with her that night to show her the way 'down'. As she stared into the warping portal, Ridge hesitated, then briskly walked away. He was scared of Notch. She pushed the annoyance to the back of her mind as she jumped into the portal.
A tingling sprung through her body as she landed nimbly on the floor. She spotted the castle, then felt a tug of sadness in her heart. But she ascended. Ascended and flew as fast as she could. Towards that rebuilt dark fortress on the horizon. The only place she felt safe in.
The journey was fairly peaceful. Reni... Reni was just so happy that people would be able to see her, rather than Notch forcing her to watch their lives go on without her. It was torture. Reni bit back her tears and flew to the front door.
She burst in, gathering the attentions of everyone inside.
"Reni!!"Zoey cried, an tackled her into a hug. Reni returned the gesture and turned to Rythian. He had a sad look in his eyes.
"Rythian, I'm sure you know, but there is something unnerving about this world. I... I need to tell you about it."
The Mage nodded and shooed away Zoey.
"When I was in the Aether, I went into one of Notch's rooms... It was this land in miniature. I only had a second before flashes of light blinded me. It was strange... I saw Sand... Lot of sand... And an Ominous figure. It was like a giant. Heading straight for us! Rythian, what do you think this is?"
"A simulations perhaps? But... I believe... This may be our... Future."
