Chapter 6 - hellhole

After 8 minutes at the fuel garage he starts driving again and stops at a news 

agent. MacTavish thinks he has the wrong van but roach tells him it’s the van I have 

a feeling. The van went off again and stops at a hotel but everyone got out and met up 

with a man outside the hotel the man seems calm but in a split second he opens fire on 

the guys and then on MacTavish’s car. After Faust shoots the car he runs for it. Ghost 

who was round the corner and half way down the road hears over the radio, “ghost our 

drivers dead, we’re on foot, meet us at the hotel Rio and cut him off if you can” ghost 

thought, ”shit” then he replied to MacTavish, “roger on my way”. Ghost then 

heard gunfire getting louder, then the next thing he sees is Faust run past him then 

roach run past him. Ghost thinks, “After this I'm going to exercise more”. Faust 

then went into an ally, MacTavish shouts “none lethal takedowns only we need him 

alive”. Faust was getting away but ghost heard MacTavish tell roach, “take the shot; 

go for the leg”. Roach shot him in the leg. Faust fell to the floor, MacTavish then 

said to roach, “good work”. Ghost tied him up and dragged him to the nearest garage 

and tied him up to a chair. MacTavish told ghost that he needed the car battery and 

some loose cables. 2 minutes later ghost came back with the car battery and some 

cables. Ghost setup the cables ready for Torturing Faust. MacTavish and ghost stayed 

to torture Faust. MacTavish told roach “roach this is going to take some time go 

with meat and Royce to check out the favela, that’s where this guy was headed.” 

Roach took meat and Royce with him to check out the Favela for Rojas. Faust took 5 

minutes of torturing and then he cracked wide open and told ghost and MacTavish 

where Rojas is. Ghost and MacTavish killed Faust and went to the place where Rojas 

was, but when they got there Rojas had gone. A while after finding out where Rojas 

was. MacTavish told roach to push on towards the top of the Favela. Ghost was 

with MacTavish on the rooftops west of roach. After a few hours of climbing up the 

Favela, ghost saw Rojas just 15 meters away. He shouted over the radio to 

MacTavish “sir I’ve got Rojas in my sights we could go for a clean leg shot, we can 

end it here!” a split second after MacTavish herd ghost, he shouted back on 

the radio “negative we can’t risk it, do not engage!” ghost didn’t like what he just 

herd and was tempted to disobey, but instead he shouted, with anger in his voice 

“bollocks, roger that”. Roach had heard the radio chatter and stopped himself from 

asking how is it risky? But after 3 minutes of fighting, he saw Rojas running along the 

rooftops with a black rucksack half open, every jolt made, what seemed like money, 

fallout. A moment after roach saw Rojas. He saw some Militia in front of Rojas, and 2 

141 members, MacTavish and ghost, behind him. Sometime later ghost thought, how long 

have they been chasing Rojas for? It didn’t matter; it was going to soon be over, until 

he jumped a fence. Roach was pinned when he heard on the radio, MacTavish saying “he’s 

getting on that motorcycle” ghost saw and fired at the wheels and fuel tank, with 

succession the motorcycle was rendered useless. All roach herd was ghost on the 

radio saying “no he’s not” and then an explosion. MacTavish with less anger in his 

voice, told ghost “nice, he’s breaking to the right again, roach if you see him do 

not shoot him, we need him alive and unharmed”. 5 minutes later MacTavish radios 

ghost, “ghost I’m going far right”. Ghost thought that won’t work, he told MacTavish 

“he’s going to get away”. The next thing ghost heard confused him a little. Suddenly 

ghost hears glass smashing followed by a sound like an aluminium can being crushed. 

Ghost had watched MacTavish jump though a glass window, tackle Rojas and then land on 

a car, crushing the roof inwards. MacTavish recovered quickly and pulled out his side 

arm, which was a standard M9 pistol, and gave a look to ghost. Ghost knew the look 

well, he got on the radio to command “command, ready for dust off, send the 

chopper, coordinates follow” ghost was interrupted by command saying “it's too 

risky, air support unavailable over” ghost looks up then replies “bollocks the skies 

are clear, send the chopper now” command replies a little louder, “negative, too 

many enemy rotor wings in the area out”. Ghost looks at MacTavish and said, with a 

hint of anger “commands got there head up there arse, we’re on our own”.
