Dick's POV
I watch as Jade takes out her notepad and pencil then instead of writing what the teacher writes she starts to sketch bored and the lesson isn't even two seconds in yet.
This Jade Isley may as well be who I think she is since she has been in trouble this morning more than I have in the whole year, I think she is related to Pamela Lillian Isley, poison ivy.
I mean she dose have a green backpack and Ivy and her family loves anything green, she also smells like roses which is the same scent of poison ivy , her face is a similar shape to Ivy's too but her eyes are a light blue and her hair is a light blonde.
I glance over at Jade and see she is drawing out two people,one female and the other male, her parents? Definitely not poison ivy so that's out of the question now.
"You're aware you need to do your work here right?" I ask in a whisper and she closes her notepad and looks at me with an unamused face
"Of course I know I need to work, what do I look like to you?" She asks in an annoyed whisper then finally starts taking notes and I look over at her from time to time making sure she is doing her work and after a while the bell rings and we go out for lunch.
I follow her around the back of the school and she looks both ways then takes out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter and looks at my shocked face with amusement. "What, you've never seen a cigarette in your life?" She asks sarcastically then puts the cigarette to her mouth and inhales the smoke.
"You're a 14 year old girl, you can't smoke and especially on school grounds, you'll get suspended or worse, you'll get expelled." I say and she laughs out smoke then coughs
"Hahaha you're a funny kid" she says then flicks her cigarette into a puddle and puts away the rest and the lighter in her school bag, "ok Grayson do I for one second look like I could care less if I got kicked out, I'm only here because- never mind..." She cuts herself off and her face looks like she was going to say something important, and not very good either.
"Because what?" I ask and she looks at me with slight nervousness
"Dad's job" she lies and I look at her in the eye, she might be Ivy's daughter or niece after all. She's off guard, I'll ask her now.
"Why are you really here?" I ask again and she looks me in the eye this time
"My mom and dad want me to go to Gotham Academy so I can take over the family business" she says this time telling the truth and I nod and don't ask any more. What's this family business? Most likely nothing, I guess Bruce was right, I've been Robin for too long, I need to be Dick Grayson again sometimes too.
"You shouldn't smoke though, it rots your lungs" I say and she smiles a small smile
"It's a bad habit, one of many" she says in some sort of friendly tone then giggles to herself. That giggle I know! Where from though?! Got that's going to annoy we for the whole day!
"Everyone has their bad habits, if you want I could help you quit?" I offer and she shakes her head and smiles
"Nah, I've tried to quit many times but of course no use and I go back to smoking" she sighs and I nod.
"Want a mint and maybe some perfume then, nobody will buy you denying your smoking addiction if you stink of smoke" I say and she nods smiling
"Sure whatever, where do I get those things?" She asks and I put a pack of chewing gum in her hand and look over to a group of girls and a smile spreads on my face.
"Give me a minute,just wait here" I tell Jade then walk over to the group of girls and they all look at me with wide eyes and blushes. Most the girls here want me either for my money or my looks, I'm of course completely off the dating game because of my visolante life as Robin but that still doesn't mean I can't flirt with the girls here.
"Dick Grayson? What are you doing here?" The leader of the group asks twirling her hair and I smile
"I was walking by and I just had to ask what perfume you all use?, it's beautiful" I ask and they all sigh
"We got it for $10 at the store across the road" the leader says and I nod and smile then motion for Jade to walk over to me and she dose so and she looks back to the girls as we walk off of school grounds
"What was that all about?" Jade asks with a smirk and I shrug
"The girls in our year tend to like me for my money or my looks and I can use that to my advantage and flirt with them, I just asked which perfume they use" I say and Jade stops in her tracks and he eyes widen
"Y..you're Dick Grayson?! The Dick Grayson?" She asks and I nod
"Yeah I am why?" She didn't know. God Grayson she treated you normally and it's all blown now! Bye mysterious hot girl...
"Not that It'll change the way I treat you, or anyone but wow, I didn't even know you went here Richard" she says and I smile
"Yeah I do and I'm glad you aren't going to treat me any differently and call me Dick, we're friends" I say as we enter the store and I pick up the perfume that smells identical to the one those girls had and Jade nods
