One month later
Dick's POV
I sit up gasping for air and Immediately Bruce comes up to me and aids me, "Dick lie back down." He says gently pushing me back down and my head is throbbing and I feel dizzy.
"Bruce what happened? Where's Jade? Is she safe?" I ask worried for her. I remember going back for the team in the fire then nothing, is Jade ok? Artemis had her but Joker could have got to them before they got back. Did Jade even survive?
"Dick you need to rest, we can talk about Jade later." Bruce says and I nod exhausted then turn on my side and close my eyes Immediately falling asleep due to the dizziness.
Jade's POV
Gotham City, it's mine, all mine. It's been a month since Robin had died and Batman is lost without his boy blunder. Joker and Harley have left Gotham and handed me the title of The Joker and I can't wait to watch Gotham burn.
"Boss lady!" I hear one of the goons yell from downstairs and I go to them to see them, as usual, unconscious. One thing about the goons, they can't do anything right.
"Jester?" I turn around to look at the team who look hurt. This is the first time them seeing me as The Joker.
"Nope, try again." I say taking out my expandable tazer staff.
Aqualad narrows his eyes, "Joker." He says and I nod smiling.
"Ding ding ding, we have a winner!" I laugh then look at him, "now come collect your prize." I say sparking my tazer and he nods at the team who circle me.
Artemis tries to shoot arrows at me but I make them blow up and she is knocked out, "that was too easy, Superboy?" I ask and he runs at me and I take out kryptonite and laugh as he falls to the ground. I keep holding it up to him and he groans weak on the ground. Pathetic.
"Jade stop it, Robin wouldn't want this!" Kid flash yells and I taze him making him fall unconscious.
"Robin is dead." I emotionlessly say. I killed him, it's my fault he died and from that I passed the initiation and became the Joker, I killed my Batman. My next goal is to watch Gotham burn and no matter how much I don't want to I have to be the Joker, I have no choice.
"Robin is not dead." Aqualad says making me turn around to look at him shocked for a second but I mask it. He's lying, he's trying to distract me.
"You're lying." I say then taze him too then look at M'gann who doesn't look like she wants to fight me.
"He is alive, he's in a coma at the batcave!" M'gann yells at me then tears stream down her face, "Jade please listen, you're only a kid, you don't have to be like this-" I taze her and she falls to the ground.
"But you see, I do."
