Jade's POV
"Robin is not dead."
"He's alive! He's at the Batcave in a coma!"
Kaldur's and M'gann's voices go through my head. I hold my head trying to get the voices out my head.
"He's alive!"
"Stop it!" I scream holding my head and falling to my knees.
"Boss lady are you-"
I shoot the goon in the chest before he can finish and he falls over the railing and onto the floor of the warehouse dead and lying in his own pool of blood.
I look down at a few of the goons then point my pistol at them, "get out and patrol the perimeter." I say in a voice showing I shouldn't be messed with.
"Yes boss lady."
I'm then left alone and I walk over to my desk and lean against it sliding to the ground where I cry. Is it possible Robin is alive? Will he ever forgive me? Can I ever go back to the way things were?
"Boss lady..." One of the goons say uneasy walking back into the warehouse.
"Did I not make it clear, I want to go insane alone!" I yell at him.
"But boss lady-"
"Get out!" I scream at him then break down into tears.
"It's B'man, he's been spotted." He says and I lie down on the floor.
"Just kill him..." I my voice cracks at the end and I cry again. There's no reply and I know I'm not alone anymore, "What do you want Bruce?" I ask closing my eyes as more tears fall.
"Jade we need to talk."
"About what? If you're going to say there's a way out of this, there isn't, I have to kill and I can't stop until Gotham burns and-"
"Robin is alive."
