We were still stuck in the lab, my dad starting up a bromance with Bruce, inviting him to Stark Towers. He shocked Bruce, as his last time he was in New York City he ripped Harlem a new one and I don't know why but my automatic reaction to this invitation was too laugh, something I regretted once I saw Steve walk in...dressed like Captain America. Oooohhh that's why he is here. I kept my head down as Steve started bickering and trying to lecture my dad on safety, something I am almost certain he deserved, and other started to file in as well. Tony brought up that Fury is probably hiding something from us. Apparently Tony actually got started on the self sustaining energy for Stark Towers, which I couldn't help but smile at from my desk. He really did stick with his plan to help the planet.
Finally Tony pushed Steve which caused Steve to storm out. I could hear Tony start bitching about how my grandpa wouldn't shut up about Steve and I excused myself to try and find Steve. I rushed down a hall and yelled Steve's name before he stopped and turned around to greet me. "Steve I am really sorry for that back there I will try to keep him focused." He smiled down at me, "I must say Toni, I am a bit surprised that he is your father." I couldn't help but giggle, which I felt stupid for, "He..., look I know he is rough around the edges and I'm not even going to act like we have the best father daughter relationship, but please Steve, trust me when I say that he is the most serious about his work." He stared at me a bit before saying, "I will trust you, but you know we never really got to know each other. Do you want to like just talk for a bit, maybe go get some coffee?" I started feeling all the butterflies when I nodded and replied, "I would love that, Steve."
I didn't know how much time passed but I really feel like I dished it out to Steve. We grabbed some coffee from the kitchen and just sat and talked. I told him everything well except for how my father almost killed me and the whole mutant thing. Steve had a mischievous look on his face and said, "I think Tony might actually be right about one thing, care to check it out." He led me down a few halls until he forced open a door and we walked in a great room filled with metal boxes. He easily jumped up on the catwalk and then pulled me up after I jumped up on a metal box. I guess we found what he wanted when he opened one of the metal boxes that has guns like weapons and shields. He grabbed this silver gun like weapons and we headed back to the lab. Nick was talking to Tony and Bruce when Steve slammed down to gun like thing, he angrily said, "phase two is to use the tesseract to make weapons." Everyone began to file in. Right after Steve said the computers were running too slow, all the info popped up on the screen. God I hate this place, next time I am hiding somewhere outside of this country. Romanoff wanted Bruce to leave and then Nick tried to justify the weapon by blaming some blond guy. I was completely lost at this point, not even knowing what a tesseract is, and started walking to Tony and Bruce. Everyone began arguing just out of no where, even I was feeling enraged at Steve, Tony and shield for making me come here. Tony jumped at the opportunity to challenge why I was with Steve, Steve wanted to fight my dad which got me a bit pissed and I finally stepped in on that yelling, "No, Steve you don't get to try and hurt my family" right then was when I received the worst thing I ever herd, "What Toni!?! So he can hurt you again. I can put two and two together, he is why you have that giant scar isn't he. He hurt you and yet you always come back to him." I was so mad that I didn't even reply I just walked out. Steve doesn't get to act like he knows shit, I was even mad at myself for wearing sports bra in the gym, where I assumed he saw the scar. I was just running around the ship when all of a sudden an explosion happened. I started to run and try to avoid people until there was yet another explosion. One that knocked me against a wall. I tried to recover quickly, I felt blood on my face. I saw a bunch of men in black running. It took me a minute until I realized they were not with SHIELD. I jumped into the next room and watch as a plane flew into a giant hole shooting at the hulk. I tried to jump to the side as soon as I herd someone try to sneak up on me. For someone who hasn't physically fought someone in years, I felt that I was doing a decent job. The men that wore black had nothing on me. A tall man grabbed me from behind and the world grew cold.
Eventually I woke up in a helicopter, with a massive head ache. The first person I saw was the tall man that was in custody before. A groan was all that could escape my lips and the sight of the man smiling at me, who proceeded to smirk at me. I don't know if I wanted to ask anything but I was lifted by my arm, and for once I was shocked at the force this man possessed, it was like mine, if not stronger and sat by him in silence. The only thing that stopped the silence was the man saying. "In case you haven't figured out I am Loki. I am shocked that a mortal like yourself has yet to bombard me with questions." I looked over at him as he nodded, giving me permission to speak. "I have nothing to say to you, I figured at the end of this plane ride I will know what you want with me. You are right I am just human so I don't really have a say now do I?" He had a deep half laugh, "You are the man of iron's offspring, and you have been seen hanging around with the one called Captain America. For someone who claims to be normal it seems that your strength is not. I saw how you fought my men, I also saw you with the green man. I am not just going to take over the world. I am going to make it hurt. The man of Iron's tower is the perfect place for me to set up everything. Now he will have the perfect audience to watch his demise, that is unless I should choose to kill you. Until then, lets see how this game plays out" I did not even move my head to watch him as he said everything. I tried to keep in the sheer rage that I was currently feeling. The lack of emotion just led to him adding on, "I'm not, see I will kill you tho eventually but you seem to have some obedience skills. It is like you are already trained." He even went as far as to place his hand on my head and move it like you would to pet a dog. As much as I would like to punch him, I know there is no point with how strong he is, so I just continue to stare ahead thinking of a solution for my problem, one without Steve or Tony saving me.
