The Battle of New York

Soon we got to Manhattan. I had my arms behind my back, handcuffed. I stood on top of Stark Tower with Loki by my side, with his hand tightly gripping my elbow. I don't know why but Tony took off his suit with a hard, serious look on his face, and all of us walked inside without a single word being spoken.

Loki stop the silence when he called out, "what do you think you are going to appeal to my humanity." I just looked up at Tony, who was working the harshest glare I have ever seen. Tony replied as he walked behind the bar, "Actually I was planning on threatening you." Loki only let go of my elbow when Tony offered him a drink. I stepped away only to have his septer pointed in my way. Tony started describing the Avengers. Loki brushed it off, "I have an Army" Tony challenged it with, "We have a Hulk" So Loki grabbed my elbow, kicked my knee down so I fell to the floor and grinned,"I have your family" Tony's grip on the scotch tightened as he explained there was no way for Loki to win. I looked at Tony pleading him to step back but he walked all the way right up to Loki. Loki met him half way and tapped the arch with the septer. Nothing happened. Even with me on my knees still I had to turn my head to hide my smile. I began to stand up but once Loki grabbed my dad's face and tossed him, I jerked up and ran straight after my dad. I pulled my hardest and the handcuffs broke giving me arm movement. I was not used to having someone faster and stronger as Loki grabbed me and  threw my across the room, and I hit the concrete wall. Everything all over hurt like hell and little dots that I knew where not real was appearing in my eyes. Loki stood over me and with a smirked he joked, "It seems that there is no heart to taint of your father's. Yours however should come in handy." That's when everything went dark. Seconds felt like hours. Loki was in my mind. Mocking me but then everything he said made sense. I thought I was free but I never was freedom is just an illusion. My father is a reckless drunk that wanted me aborted. Nick, Natasha and Hawkeye don't care about me they are blind little soldiers. Bruce is just going to disappear once this is over. Even Steve is just the military's puppet, never capable of any real feelings. The only reason I am here is because they kidnapped me. Loki is honest and truthful.

I stood up and walked to him. I got on one knee and bowed, as much as I tried to stop it. "What do you need master. I am only here to serve." He all too gleefully answered, "kill the Avengers" Inside my mind was a constant battle as I tried to fight every little movement that my body made. I came to the realization that I am too week as the darkness took over. Whispering lies that I believed as my body went after the ones I loved.

When I woke up I saw that sneaky little red head standing above me. I groaned and grabbed my throbbing head. "Fuck Natasha did I just get bitch slapped by a train." The very blunt answer I got was, "Basically, had to think of a way to stop you. It worked with Barton. Looks like you have some explaining to do when this is over" I got up  looked out of a broken window. A giant worm hole looking thing was in the sky, with a bunch of weird alien creatures coming out of it. I took one look at Natasha before running to the elevator taking it down to the workshop floor. I could just hear her yell at me to stop. Just like I guessed, sure enough Tony had spare Iron Man suits.

One suit didn't look like the others. It looked like my dad was still working on it. I grinned and whispered to myself, "Sometimes you have to run before you can walk"

Soon I flew right out a window inside the suit. I just began shooting anything that was alien looking. I went looking for everyone and soon JARVIS connected me to the frequency. I landed right behind Bruce when he punched the massive alien. My dad landed right beside me, "I would give you a lecture about steeling my suits." Steven snapped, "Now is not the time, we could use her help. Toni stick with Tony."

Soon enough I was flying aliens into buildings and hitting them with lasers. Make sure none of them left Manhattan. I even chucked one at the big ship. I don't know why but all of this just felt so awesome. I herd there was a nuke on the way and I instantly flew to the bomb. I got there before my dad only to get knocked down by him. Once I got on my feet I flew straight to the worm hole I could hear everyone yelling in my ear that they were closing the hole but I flew right in and grabbed Tony pulling him out. When he was on the ground he looked dead. I jumped out of the suit and shook him, starting to cry. The Hulk yelled and woke him up. I was still crying when he offered swarma.

The news of the attack was soon all over the news. Everyone kinda just left. I went home, which thankfully wasn't destroyed and slept. A few days later the Avengers met at central park to send Loki home. When I arrived everyone seemed a bit shocked. I shook hand with Clint, and Banner. When I shook Natasha's hand I asked, "I was expecting SHIELD to knock down my door", she gave me a slight smile and said, "Well I figured everyone has their secretes and who am I to out you". I really respected her about that. Thor took my hand and kissed it, "It is great to know that earth has some beautiful and powerful worriers protecting it". Not gunna lie, I want to say that I acted cool but honestly I didn't. Not even slightly. I gave a goofy smile and stumbled over my crappy attempt to flirt. Steve walked up to us and Thor walked away after winking at me. Steve held out his hand for me to shake and it kinda hurt. "Well Miss Stark it was great officially meeting you, if I see you at the gym don't be a stranger". I frowned at this, but frowned even more when me head turned and I saw Loki. Even with the face mask I looked as Loki stared right at me. That man never looks defeated. He still looked like he had something up his sleeve. Maybe that is why I only released a silent breath after he left. In a weird way I felt violated that man was in my mind. He probably knows everything about me. I just never want to see his face again. Tony hugged me and offered for me to hang with him and Bruce. I declined and he told me when I was free to stop by the tower before hopping in the convertible with Bruce. Then Steve looked back at me, I was going to walk away but he called out my name and asked "So do you want to finally go get that coffee. I don't think that day old pot on the ship really counted" I just smiled and said yeah. That's the story of how I got my date with Steve Rogers, the cute guy from my gym.

At the dinner we talked and talked. He made me feel normal, like I didn't just fight a bunch of aliens. He even walked to my home in Brooklyn. You know that awkward, "end of date standing in the doorway" part of EVERY teen movie out there. Yeah. Well Capt and I had that weird moment. Somehow it was worth it tho when he placed his hand on my face and gave me a quick peck on the lips. You see there is one thing that separates my dad and I. I'm not a girl that all men like. Don't get me wrong I'm hot and I know it. I just have always been called jail bait and never found a guy I really liked and who honestly really liked me. So I'm a virgin. And here is this cute, normal for the most part man who is too.

I woke up pretty late, but I deserve it. After all I helped the world a few days ago right? After my subway ride to Stark tower I started to get a bit emotional, I didn't even know what to feel so I just started feeling every emotion possible. No matter how old you are you still feel like a child when compared to your father. I was nervous because this will be the first time we see each other not busy since I "ran away". He had seemed to be doing fine without me after all Stark tower is a shiny jewel that rises above all of Manhattan, I also felt supper attached since I almost just watched him die yesterday.

When I stood in front of Start Tower, all damaged from the fight, I considered going back to Brooklyn.
