Colette's POV

'ugh!! when are we ever get out of this hell hole?? i mean...car.' i asked

'just another hour, i promise colette'

' i can't wait much longer mother!!'

' c'mon colette we're almost to aunt maryann's house'

'  fine but if  i fart in my sleep y'all are just gonna have to deal with it'

I'm Colette and i live in GA but right now i'm on a long ass car ride to Chicago for Thanksgiving break and i can't wait to see my family again..last time i saw them it was before i had braces and before i actually had a fashion sense so a lot has changed with me and maybe even them. I'm hoping my cousin blake ,who's 14 like me, is hot lol. its important that i go up this year because my aunt maryann has prostate cancer and is having her surgery on next monday( today is wednesday) and my cousin charlie committed suicide a couple weeks back so its important to see my aunt karen because shes been going through a really hard time. okay so my family is really messed up so i'll basically give you a family  tree. my great grandmother had 3 girls, my grandma , my great aunt maryann and great aunt carolinn. my grandma's kids are irrelevant to this story. aunt maryann had 3 kids..todd, margret, and renee. margret and renee dont have kids but todd has 5. he has blake, braden, bella, broklynn and beckett.  aunt carolinn had aunt karen and she has 3 kids. jack, charlie and joe.

'Colette! get up! we're at aunt maryann's'

' for real? what time is it? its super dark.'

'7:12 central time'

' holy shit'

'yeah i know'

the first thing i did was hug my aunt and uncle and say hello and answer any questions they had like 'how is school?' 'how old are you?' 'is that hair color natural?'...'good. 14. no' . right after i plugged my phone into the only outlet in my room so my sister had to plug hers in the kitchen..she was pissed but i didnt care. i got to snapchat my friends from my room. ha. in her face.
