Prologue

"It is time" Septimus, the High Priest of Avalonia said, looking up at the full moon from the balcony.

"My lord, if I may say, I think best if you are not to attend the blooming of the Moon Flower," Terrance, an apprentice of the High Priest said.

"No. I will see for myself that the Seer is wrong." Septimus shook his head.

"However, you must not test the Seer's powers, for you will receive bad omen," Terrance shook his head.

The Great Seer of Avalonia had told Septimus a prophecy many years ago about the Guardian of the Moon. Two children will be born from the Moon Flower at the same time. They will be total destruction to the universe. One must be destroyed, or else.

Septimus ignored Terrance and headed back inside the palace and down the long corridor to the Blooming Room.

The Sun and Star Flower had already bloomed and produced two male Guardians. Now it was time for the Moon Flower to bloom.

As he entered the room, Septimus was greeted by Margaret, who had cried out, "Its a twin!"

Septimus quickly looked at the two bundles, both had raven black hair and the darkest blue eyes ever. One male, and another female.

He shoved the female child to Margaret. "Get rid of it."

"But-But-" Margaret stammered.

"GET RID OF IT! GET RID OF IT!" He bellowed at her.

Frightened, Margaret scurried out of the room and out of the palace.

Septimus turned to the male child in his arms and named him Adrian.
