Chapter 4
"Artemis? Where are you going?" Nanny asked Artemis. Nanny had just caught Artemis trying to sneak out of the cottage late at night, dressed fully and donned with a cloak.
Jumping in surprise, "Oh-- I'm not really tired, so I'm going to walk around a bit..." Her voice shook a bit.
Nanny looked at her worriedly. "Oh, alright, but don't stay out too long. It's dangerous"
Artemis just laughed her off. "No worries, don't wait up for me" And with that, Artemis quickly walked out of the cottage and into the darkness of the night."

For a month or two, Artemis and Adrian met each other in secret. They would meet by the lake all the time, and share stories, laugh together, enjoy each others presence.
But both Artemis and Adrian knew that they were madly in love with each other, and it's must be kept a secret.
If Adrian was caught with a lower-class women, he will be shunned from society. Artemis, on the other hand, would be severely punished. That was the law of Avalonia.
"Artemis, look up" Adrian had said to Artemis one night, as they were rolling around in the grass.
Artemis looked up to see a whole galaxy of stars. "Oh my." The sky was scattered with millions of stars twinkling. "It's beautiful." Artemis' face filled with wonder.
"I used to only stare up into the moon and never paid any attention to the stars." She turned to Adrian. "I never knew it would be so magnificent."
Adrian smiled at her. "Seth is the Guardian of the Stars. He scatters the night sky with stars sometimes whenever he is rather.....drunk."
Artemis raised one delicate eyebrow. "He has a fondness for alcohol?"
"Yes, but don't tell anyone, it's supposed to be a secret."
Artemis threw back her head and laughed. Adrian watched her with fascination. She was so....beautiful.
Artemis' laughter died away as Adrian drew his head closer to her's. She stopped breathing. He brushed his lips against hers, lightly. Then he pulled her closer by the back of her neck and deepened the kiss.
Artemis was too paralyzed to respond at first. Adrian rubbed her arm, soothingly, with his hand. Soon, she began to relax and respond to the kiss, and opened her lips for him. He kissed her harder, and deeper. Soon, the slow kiss became fast, and they were becoming breathless.
Adrian pulled apart first and rested his forehead against hers. Artemis was blushing deep red from the heat, lack of oxygen, and embarrassment. "Oh my." She breathed out loud. "That was..."
"Amazing." Adrian finished for her. He stroked her red, hot cheeks with his fingers. "Was that your first time?"
Artemis couldn't answer. It was such an embarrassing moment for her. "Yes." She answered finally, after about a minute or two."
"Good." Adrian smiled. "I would hate to think that you've had other men before me."
"And that would also explain your lack of skill." He added in, slyly.
"Oh Lord." Artemis playfully smacked him in the arm. "Do not tease me."
Adrian just smiled and pulled her into his embrace, and fell onto the grass, holding her tightly.
"You're mine." He whispered into her ear. "No one is allowed to touch you except me."
Artemis just nodded against his chest and closed her eyes. "Always. Forever."
".....Was it your first too..?" Artemis asked timidly.
"..... No comment..."

Authors Note
Sorry it's so short and sorry that i didn't update sooner!
Starting from a few chapters later, I'm going to write in first person perspective, i realized third person is a little difficult for me because i cant express everything.
