Chapter 9: Drunk
Cat's pov.
Woooooooooo, this is fun! I don't know how many drinks I've had, but it must of been a lot 'cause wolves don't get drunk easily. I should drink more often, this feels fuuuuuunnnn. Waaaaiit....... How did I end up dancing on the table again? Whatever I'll just shake my ass and dance more. I think as I shake and get lower and I hear many wolf whistles and cheering. Oooh they like it! Imma do it more 'cause I like cheering! They're happy like meee! I continue to dance to the unfamilair song and then I feel someone wrap their arms around my waist and pull me close to them.
Who the hell are you? They only guy I can dance with doesn't want me so I can't dance with you.... I hope he sees this and comes and kicks mister stranger danger's ass......Asssssss, heh Kolton has a nice one......heh.... I dance with mister stranger danger and feel him getting very excited if you know what I mean. This weirdo is gettin' too happy.... Why isn't Kolton kicking his ass by now? I think and I continue to dance on him.
Well I guess this proves Kolton really doesn't want me, why do I even try? Fuckin' stupid ass mate connection won't let me accept the fact that he doesn't want me....I continue to grind on mister stranger danger then I hear a growl that gives me goose bumps and makes a drunken smile come to my face. Koooooltooon..... Heh he saw me with mister stranger dangerrrrr.... I suddenly feel myself being ripped away from creepy mister stranger danger and I'm now in the warm arms of Kolton.
He's so warm...He gives such beautiful hugs... This is nicceeee.. Heheh I like these hugs, they're better than Shane's hugs.... I wrap my arms around Kolton and cling to him. I can hear him and mister stranger danger talking but I only catch a few words. Whatever, not like it's important. I feel myself now being lifted off the ground and I giggle. "This is fuuuuuuun, I feel like I'm flying! WOOOOOOOSHHHH!" I say and I hear Kolton laugh and I let another drunken smile cross my face.
"I like your laugh..." I say and Kolton smiles down at me. "Really?" He says and I nod, "Yep! You look pretty when you do, almost as pretty as Hayley. Hayley really pretty, so your a second next to her. She so pretty I'd go gay for her..." I trail off and Kolton laughs and then I hear more people laugh. It sounds so familair..... OOOOOOH MY PACK! "I'd go gay for you too babe." I hear Hayley say and I smile in the direction of her voice.
"Fuck yeah you would." I say smirking and I feel Kolton put me down. "No, nooo. Kol-Kol don't leave meeeee...." I whine and I hear Kolton laugh. "I have to go or else they'll hunt me down and chop off my baby maker darling, I'm sure you certainly want kids one day." Kolton says and I hear the pack laugh and then some small growls. "She won't be yours one day." I hear I think Alex say and I frown and shake my head. "But I want to be with Kol-Kol one day! Maybe tomorrow!" I say and Hayley and Kolton laugh but the boys all frown.
"Only if they allow it. Now I gotta leave okay, bye Cat." Kolton says and I feel him place a kiss on my forehead leaving me with sparks and a big smile. "Why do you not like him again?" I say slurring my words slightly and then they explain that he rejected me and I get mad."AAAWWW HEELLLL NO! IMMA KILL THAT MOTHER FUCKER! WHERE IS HE?!" I yell making everyone laugh at my change of mood. I jump out of my bed and then sway a little when I stand 'cause I'm still drunk.
"Woaah, it's all spinny now..." I saw smiling and everyone laughs. "Look just go to bed babe." Hayley says and she sits me down on my bed. "But I don't wanna sleeeeeep!" I whine and she laughs and lays me down and puts blankets around me. "Boys I got this, go out. Shoo, shoo!" She says and they all leave murmuring words I can't understand because I'm now tired since she Hayley's tucking me in.
She kisses my forehead and turns off the light then walks out the room. "I'm putting some water and a headache pill over on your nightstand so you can drink them in the morning. Night sweetheart, see you in the morning." Hayley whispers and she kisses my forehead and turns out the light then walks out of the room.

I groan and run a hand down my face. My throat hurts and I have the biggest headache in the world right now. I look around and see a cup of water and a pill on my night stand and I smile. Hayley. I grab the pill and the water and chug it down quickly. I swing my legs over the bed and get up with a yawn. "Mother firetrucker... This headache's a pain in the ass...." I trail off and run a hand through my probably horrendous bed head.
I stubble over to my nightstand and see that I'm still in the clothes from last night. My make-up is smeared all over my face, my hair is looking horrendous, making me sigh in disappointment. This is not what you would call a sleeping beauty..... I quickly take off my make-up so I don't look like a retarded clown and change into a random blue top and some soft black work-out shorts. I brush my hair 'till it looks normal and then head downstairs.
"Looks like sleeping beauty has awakened!" Derek says as he cooks what looks like scambled eggs. "Yeah sure, can I eat some food?" I ask walking around the kitchen over to Derek. "Nope these are for Alex, he got so trashed after you went to bed. I feel bad for him so I'm cookin' for the guy, can you bring it up to him?" Derek says and I look around and notice the familair black haired boy isn't present.
"Ight, I'll take it up. Oh and Shane, you better watch your mate because remember, I'd go gay for her and she would go gay for me too." I joke winking at him and he laughs. "Naa, I don't think I have to worry. She won't leave me for you because I'm good in bed and she likes that." He says winking and I fake gag. "Ew ew ew, didn't need to know that! SCARRED FO' LIFE!" I say and Hayley and Shane laugh.
"Ya know, Cat's pretty hot... I wouldn't mind her...." Hayley says jokingly and she walks over to me and winks. "Hey are you tired? Cause you've been runnin' through my mind all day." She says and I burst into a fit of laughter and everyone else does too. "That...was......so...bad! Even......worse than...my...lines!" I say between fits of laughter and she pouts at me. "Was it really that bad?" She says and I nod, "Cat's are better! And that's saying something!" Kai says and I nod but then shoot him a glare when I realize what he said.
"Hey! That's not cool man! Mine aren't that bad!" I say and Kai sends me a look. "Really? One of your lines is, if you were a potato, you'd be a sweet potato. That's not a good line at all!" Kai says and Derek nods in agreement. "Yeah, that one was just sad." Derek says and I glare at him. "You're family, you're suppost to say it's good!" I protest but he shrugs. "I'm just statin' the truth, cous'." He says and then Hayley puts her arm around me.
"It's okay, if it makes you feel any better if you would have used that line on me I would have thought it was funny and good." She says and I lean into her and fake sob. "HAYLEY THEY'RE SO MEAN TO ME! YOU'RE THE ONLY NICE ONE!" I say and she pats my back. "I know sweetheart, I know." I hear the boys laughing behind us making me laugh a bit.
"Food's ready so can you bring it up to Alex?" Derek says and I pull out of Hayley's arms. "Sure." I say and they laugh at how I just went from fake weeping to normal. I grab the plate of eggs and toast from Derek and head up to Alex's room. As I get closer I smell something different in Alex's scent, like really different.... I approach the door and then smell another scent. Okay now this is getting really weird.... I think and then I open the door. I walk inside and then approach Alex's bed but freeze.
No way... This is why his scent is different.
