The Doctor's Daughter

Winter Wonderland

It was a chilly November day. The TARDIS was parked on earth, refueling in Cardiff, so the Doctor and (y/n) decided to go for a little walk, looking at the sights, seeing what's changed since the Doctor was last there. Little (y/n) was riding up on the Doctor's shoulders, hoping that they would be able to go back to the TARDIS soon. Earth was nice, but it gets kinda boring, unlike when they would go on a big adventure, or something. The Doctor could tell that his little girl wasn't her usual cheery self, so he was hoping that nothing was wrong.
"(y/n)?"
"Yah?"
"You OK? You seem kinda down, or something."
"I'm fine. Just kinda bored. I wish it was snowing. Then we could play in it! Make snowmen, or have a snowball fight, or something!"
"Oh?"
"Yep!"
"Hm... Well, we better do something about that, then! I can't be having my little girl all bored, now, can I?"
The Doctor then quickly got back to the TARDIS, holding on to (y/n). He opened the door, and ran to the control panel, and started flipping switches and pushing buttons. The TARDIS dematerialized, then rematerialized on an unknown planet. The Doctor opened the doors, and showed (y/n) where they were.
"Where are we?"
"We are on The Arctic Giant, (a/n - thank you @livingtroll) a large planet, completely covered in snow and ice. Known for it's beautiful snowflakes, its perfect for any snowtime fun needs! Now then, you need to get ready, so that you can play in the snow, alright?"
"OK! But, you're coming too, right?"
"Of course!"
So, the Doctor found some warm clothes for (y/n), and helped her get them on, then he found some warm clothes for himself, and put them on. They both stepped outside, ready to play in the snow. They had a snowball fight, made snowmen, and (y/n) even made a few snow angels. After a bit, they were both getting cold, so they went back inside the TARDIS, changed back into their regular clothes, then had a nice cup of hot chocolate.
"What was your favorite part of playing outside, (y/n)?"
"I think it was when we had the snowball fight! You were covered snow!"
"So we're you!"
"Yes, but it was funnier that you were covered!"
"I guess!"
"I wish we could do this every day!"
"Me too!"
If only he knew what was coming in the future.
