A/n - Hey all! Sorry bout the long wait! This story is a request from a quotev account I have. I figured that you guys should be allowed to read it to!
------------------
"AHHHH! No! Stay back! Don't come any nearer!"
"Don't blink, (y/n)! Blink and they'll take you away!"
Little 10 year old (y/n) nodded and just stared at the creature in front of her. The Doctor had issues of his own. He was nearly face to face with the same type of creature.
"I hate weeping angels!"
"That makes 2 of us."
The pair were already back to back, and had no where to go to be able to get away
*click* *bang!*
Once the smoke from the gunshot, and the dust from the angel cleared, the Doctor could see a woman with fluffy hair, staring back at him, grinning.
"Hello Sweetie!"
"River! What are you doing here?"
"I happened to be in the area when I noticed something going on around here. Now then, you might want to duck."
*click* *bang!*
-Time Skip to on the TARDIS-
(y/n) was a little confused as to what was going on.
'Who is that woman? She obviously knows my dad. Where did she come from anyway, I was pretty sure there was no one else in the building with us.'
"(y/n)? Are you alright?"
She jumped, and found the Doctor knelt down in front of her, looking a little worried.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little confused."
"Confused? About what?"
"About her."
(y/n) nodded her head towards River as she said this.
"River?"
"Mm-hm. Who is she? I don't think I've ever seen her before."
River then walked over, put a hand on the Doctor's shoulder, and knelt down next to him.
"My name is River Song. I've known the Doctor for a long time I am... He is... How do I put this... I am his wife."
"Wife?"
(y/n) turned to the Doctor, still a little confused.
"She's your wife?"
"Yeah. She's my wife, which also means that she's your mother."
(y/n) was close to tears, from hurt and confusion.
"When where you gonna tell me? Why didn't you tell me who my mom was sooner?"
"I don't know. I-i just -"
She then pushed past the Doctor and River, and ran to her bedroom, slamming the door shut, (a/n - probably whispering a brief apology to the TARDIS for slamming the door) and collapsed on her bed, crying. As she was leaving, the Doctor tried to stop her, so he could explain everything, but (y/n) wouldn't listen. River did her best to comfort him, as he seemed to go limp as (y/n) pushed him away.
"Hey, sweetie! It will be alright. We can wait for her to calm down, then we can answer any questions she has, and explain everything."
"I guess... I just hate seeing her like this, though. Telling someone who your mother is, can't really be brought up in a regular conversation. I just hope she doesn't hate me."
"She doesn't hate you! She's just a little confused! You're her father! You two have been through so much together. She could never really hate you."
"I hope you're right."
-Time Skip to later in the day-
The Doctor stood at (y/n)'s door, hoping that she wasn't still upset at him.
*knock* *knock*
"Who is it?"
"Your father."
When there was no answer, the Doctor tried to open the door, but found it was locked.
"(y/n), please come and unlock the door. I've come to explain all that had happened."
"I don't want to see you."
"Then have the TARDIS unlock the door. Please, sweetheart. I really would like to talk to you."
After a short silence, the Doctor heard a quiet click, so he put a hand on the door nob and opened the door. He looked in and saw (y/n) curled up on the bed, not even flinching when the door opened. He walked over to her bedside, and sat down next to her.
"(y/n), I'm sorry that I didn't tell you sooner. I-I didn't know how! It never came to mind to do so, at any point, because of how much fun we have on all our adventures."
He looked at (y/n) and saw that she still hadn't moved. He knew one technique, that may work to get her attention, but he wasn't sure if it would or not. He decided to try it anyway. He released a shaky breath, then begun his act. He put his head in his hands, and just sat there, starting to 'cry'. This got the attention of (y/n), who was now confused of why her dad was crying.
"Why are you crying?"
"First the wearing angels come out of nowhere and attack, and now my own daughter hates me!"
"I don't hate you!"
"You're just saying that. Who could love someone who keeps secrets from one of the most important people in their life!"
(y/n) had by now sat up and was now standing on her knees, staring at the Doctor. He eventually uncovered his eyes, but still wouldn't look at her. She then crawled over to him, climbed onto his lap, leaned forward, burrowing her face into his chest, and wrapping her arms around him.
"I don't hate you. I really mean it! I understand why you don't tell me, and I'm not mad about it anymore."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
The Doctor then wrapped his arms around Sara and held her close. What they didn't know is that there was someone with poofy hair watching from the shadows.
'I'm glad they got the issue sorted out. The Doctor hates seeing Sara upset, and I hate seeing him upset. I knew that the issue wouldn't last long! I had better go now, before they know that I'm here.'River Song smiled to herself as she quietly made her way out of the room.
------------------
A/n - There you go! Sorry it took so long. I will make it up to you guys... Somehow. I couldn't really figure out another way to put River in, so I did my best to do so. On a side note, I'm thinking of an idea for a new book! I'm not sure how long it will be, and I don't even know what the title of it is gonna be. Hopefully I can get the first chapter put up soon... As long as writers block doesn't hit me again, or I get busy, or sick or something.
