Blakelyn's POV:
"First bowl of oatmeal!" I smiled as I videotaped Harry sit down in front of the twins' high chairs. Trevor gently hit against the tray as Harry chuckled. "Calm down bud." He smiled and continued to stir it. He put a little on the spoon and fed him. Trevor spit a little out but mostly ate it. "Is it good?" I smiled and wiped the excess off with his bib. When he fed Christian some, he ate all of it and I smiled. "They both like it." Harry smiled as I stopped recording.
Harry continued to feed them and I watched. They both enjoyed the new food and I smiled. I took a picture of the empty bowl and posted it on Instagram with the caption
@blake_james: tried oatmeal today, it was a success!
I picked up Christian and walked upstairs to my room with Harry following. I put him on his stomach and sat in front of him. I watched him push his arms down so his back arched and his head looked up at me. "Good job!" I smiled and kissed his forehead, making him smile and coo. I looked at Trevor to see him sitting against Harry's stomach but soon fell onto the carpet. "They're getting so big." I smiled at Harry and he smiled back.
•••I sat at the doctors office with the twins' car seats in front of me. I looked down at them to see Christian sleeping and Trevor was playing with a rattle I bought them. I smiled and continued to play with my phone. "Trevor and Christian." I heard the nurse say as I got up and took them to the back.
"Christian is 17 pounds 7 ounces." The doctor said to me. "He's huge." I chuckled as she measured the squirmy baby. She smiled and nodded, handing him to me. She checked both of their bodies and wrote things on her sheet for them.
"Have you see anything wrong with their development?" She asked me and i shook my head. "They're doing everything on schedule, they even started baby food." I smiled and she nodded. "That's good, I want you to keep giving them small amounts of baby food until the next few months." I nodded and looked at them. They were cooing and looking around. "They're very talkative." She smiled and I did too.
I walked into the house with a bag of Chik-fil-A and the twins. I took them out of their car seats and laid them on their activity mat. I watched them play as I sipped from my Coke. I turned on the Christmas tree and looked at them as they both looked at it. I chuckled and continued eating.
A/N: the next few chapter will be Christmas-y!
