I hadn't been in my room long before I heard the front door go, making me jump at such a simple sound.

Three clear, loud knocks.

Closing my eyes I tried to ignore it, wanting nothing more than to give into the exhaustion that washed over me as the minutes ticked by.

I had nearly dropped off to sleep when the sound of glass breaking snapped me from my slumbering state.

What the hell is that? I thought as I cocked an eyebrow and reluctantly got up, pulling on some sweatpants before heading out of my room to go investigate.

The house was quiet, too quiet.

Marius and Rosá were out patrolling so I knew it wouldn't be them making all the noise. Freezing, I listened to heavy footsteps stomp around in the living room before pausing briefly.

Going as quiet as I could, I crept down the hallway and with a reassured breath, I pushed my way into the room.

To my surprise the man I'd seen in the woods was standing there, eyes seeming to glow as he turned to find me standing there.

"You."

I couldn't help but frown, walking deeper into the room. "What are you doing here?"

The man pulled back his upper lip, the movement making him look more animal than human.

"Where is she?"

"Who?"

Timothy glared and I couldn't help but freeze where I was, knowing just how unpredictable he was. How did he even get in here? I pondered briefly.

"Don't play games with me, blood sucker."

I held up my hands, moving round him to sit on the arm of the sofa. "I don't know what your talking about."

He growled and I rolled my eyes.

"Can you enlighten me? I have things I need to be doing right now instead of playing games."

I crossed my arms over my chest and fought back the urge to yawn. The sun was shining through the crack in the curtain, filling half the room with natural light.

It's around mid day, I mused softly and briefly closed my eyes.

"You took her from me."

"Took who? I need names not genders."

"I'm not telling you her name, you sick freak!" I could almost taste the anger rolling off the were. "That white she-wolf you claimed to have been saving the first time I found your sorry ass."

I blanched at his tone and couldn't help but recall the sweet natured wolf who had been so kind as to get me something to snack on. Then, I remembered Rosá showing me a picture of a scared looking woman with a girl tucked up under her arm... Surely that wasn't her?

"What's her name?"

Timothy came to stand in front of me, his forest scent filling my nose and almost making it burn. I fought back the urge to cringe and stood my ground, his eyes ablaze as I clenched my jaw, refusing to lay down and be a pussy to a wolf, especially since I wanted answers.

I had done nothing wrong.

"You think for one second that I would tell you? I bet you already know it, after all," He growled low in his throat, "You took her. You took them both."

"I did no such thing, I've never kidnapped anyone in my life!"

"You are a fucking liar."

My stomach growled and I resisted the urge to run my tongue over my aching gums. God did I need to feed... I needed food and craved sleep. Couldn't a guy get some peace around here? I thought with a pout before the wolf pushing me back snapped me from my thoughts.
